The Lifting Of Spirit Of Humanism In Contemporary Chinese University

University highlights and gives birth to the human spirit, which runs through the teaching and scientific research, daily management, campus culture, service and other aspects. Although in the last half of the 19th century, along with the scientific and technological progress and scientific knowledge entering the classroom, there has been some phenomenon of scientific extrusion over humanity at colleges, the cultivation of human spirit is still the nation's common concern to the university. This is because of the following reasons:first, humanistic spirit cultivation in college is an inevitable requirement of university development, social progress and the college cultural integration and the soul innovation. Especially the modern university plays a personnel training, scientific research, social services function, but any one kind of functions can not do without the human spirit's leading; second, humanistic spirit development is the inherent requirements to insist on the ideal of college and the comprehensive development of college students. University's duty is to train people, and human development includes not only the satisfaction of material needs, but also to meet the spiritual needs, improving the quality of the human spirit. Construction of human spirit is conscious of university education to pursue his development and the development trend of internationalization of higher education as well; third, the human spirit can shape the quality of the university's community demonstration, playing an important role and get far-reaching effects to the whole society. Meanwhile, the humanistic spirit of the university is a sign to identify the difference between each other, and this spirit often highlights the unique history of the human spirit and tradition through a strong educational philosophy and values of the school motto with its own characteristics. Therefore, as a soul reflected in university education, humanity spirit promotes the cultural prosperity of universities and academic freedom and develops the university's critical spirit and the spirit of innovation, which helps to form the inner and outer code of conduct and helps people full and free development, promote moral, scientific and cultural qualities and health qualities of harmony and unity of body and mind, helps people to form correct world outlook, to be a unity of being real, good and beautiful. From the birth of modern university in our country, it's humane education has been sheltered by science education, so stunted. Since 1950s, when western countries have been beginning to reflect drawbacks brought by the loss of human spirit, China's university still followed the Soviet's model in the pious. To meet the country's industrialization and modernization, technology and human are artificially separated, thus science education occupies a dominant position at the university, and humanity education becomes more and more marginalized. With the further development of the reform and opening-up and of market economy, the cultivation of humanistic spirit has drawn increasing attention to the state and society. Subjectively speaking, we found that market orientation and utility orientation has become more evident in the contemporary university, the university became a market economic accessories. "What the market needs, the university will do for it." Impetuous atmosphere filled the campus, and "ivory tower" indulged in a variety of decadent society thoughts and temptations of the dip, the university were surrounded by vulgar morality, utilitarianism and nihilism. Then, contemporary Chinese universities face the crisis of humane. From the point of combination of the ideological and political education and the humanity education, this paper explores the optimal way to ideological and political education, which has important theoretical and practical significance.In addition to introduction and conclusion, this paper focuses on four parts:the first part, from different perspectives of the human spirit, studied in-depth of definition of "humanity", humanism, the difference between humanism and scientism, the human spirit in traditional Chinese culture, Humanism in western philosophy, Marxism's surpassing the humanistic spirit of the West, and then explained the significance of human spirit for the University. Through the Evolution of the humanism in western university, it reveals the characteristics of human spirit in contemporary China's University. The second part focuses on contemporary Chinese humanistic spirit absence and its reason. The third part describes the theoretical basis and privilege of humanistic spirit, cultivation. The fourth part elaborates people-oriented philosophy of education, improvement of university education and teaching management system, with the emphasis on the development and the reference of the humanistic spirit of educators in the western humanistic culture focusing on analysis of contemporary Chinese way to build up humanity.The features and innovations of this research are:first, this paper explores effectiveness of the training from the perspective of combination of the ideological and political education and the humanity education. The combination of the ideological and political education and the humanity education is not only the objective requirements of contemporary development of university education, but also the ways to optimize the way to the ideological and political education and benefit its education goals. Second, this paper fully taps the content of the fine traditional Chinese culture and enriches the human spirit of the Chinese university. Traditional Chinese culture focused on the pursuit of ideal personality a sense of responsibility and mission, emphasizing the harmony of the human and nature, man and society of contemporary China, which provides great reference of humanity training for contemporary Chinese university. Third, referring to the methods of western country's training humanistic spirit and the historical experience, this paper enriches China's ways. Through investigation, learning and absorption of good practice on the humanistic spirit from domestic and foreign universities this paper provides valuable training experience.Based on the systematic analysis of contemporary Chinese universities'humane loss and its reasons, guided by on the humanistic spirit of Marxism, takes the reality of college culture of humanism as a base, cultural development as favorable conditions, drawing on domestic and foreign Humanities Spirit as beneficial practices, by consulting the methods of historical research, comparative research and systematic research, this thesis focuses on the choices of path to cultivate humanistic spirit in Chinese universities. This paper argues that the university should be self-starting to care about the students of the spiritual world, respect for the students'independent personality, respect for the students'selectivity, the students'creative development. Taking these as the main content, properly establish a people-centered educational philosophy; taking improving the broad caliber and general category talents training model, and improving the philosophical social sciences and humanities education, ideological and political education function and enhancing the educational function of the human social practice as a breakthrough, improve the university education and teaching management system; taking lifting educators'social conscience and educators'required independent spirit of critical consciousness and humanistic concern as basic meaning, try to promote the cultivation of educators' human spirit to solve the problem of the humanity loss in universities, and then construct a new model for the humanistic spirit training in contemporary Chinese universities.
