The Study On Biotechnology Commercialization

It is expected that biotechnology will play a leading role in the increasing development of social economy in the future. As the commercialization of biotechnology is a sophisticated systematic project, the development of bio-economy requires establishing a manipulating system of the biotechnology commercialization.By analyzing and studying the theories of the biotechnology commercialization and their practical applications both at home and abroad, this thesis puts forward three points: (1) the regulations and procedures of the application of biotechnology, (2) principles and evolution theories of the commercialization of biotechnology, (3) this paper discusses some corresponding hot-issue problems and important items. In terms of the implementation of the biotechnology commercialization as follows: First, considering the research and practical situation of the biotechnology commercialization in China, the paper studies the executive procedure of the commercialization of the research results of biotechnology, the cost analysis, the evaluation index system of valid selection and the manipulating mechanism. Second, taking biomedicine for example, the paper describes the integrated management procedure from developing to selling a biotechnological product in accordance with the characteristics and situation of developing and marketing biotechnological products. Third, in the light of the management risks and the channels of raising funds which are to be solved emergently in the commercialization of biotechnology, the paper raises some corresponding measures and executive suggestions. After studying the vertical and horizontal integrated implementation and management of the industrial and commercial operation of biotechnology, the paper puts forward to a strategic plan for a multinational management of the enterprises in biotechnology. In addition, the author of this paper gives an expectation of the prospect of the study on the commercialization of the biotechnology. Due to the comprehensive study and detail discussion of the commercialization of the biotechnology, the paper is of great importance both in theory and in practice.The content of the paper can be divided into the following parts:The first part focuses on the theory and practice on the development of the biotechnology commercialization as well as the study of the biotechnology' historical role. On the basis of analyzing the concept of biotechnology and its historical development, the paper applies a comparison analysis to study such problems as techniques, enterprises, strategies which are used by the competitive opponents of the biotechnology and its enterprises in China (The paper studies the development of the world biotechnology, the social evaluation and the development of the biotechnical industry, the commercial management strategies and its trend, and the theoretical study on the technique commercialization). In addition, the paper analyses the trend of the biotechnology and its industry in China, and the gap between China and the developed countries in the world. Finally in this part, the paper discusses such hot-issue problems as protection of the plants and animals' resources, biodiversity, biosafety and ethics of living beings, and puts forward several suggestions. The second part mainly studies the regulations and procedures in the application of biotechnology, and the principles and evolution theory of the commercialization system. On the basis of analyzing the characteristics of the R&D and its enterprise of biotechnology, the paper on the whole puts forward the 1+3 regulations and procedures in the application of biotechnology. Then, by further analyzing the economic characteristics and market conditions of the manipulation in biotechnology commercialization, the paper designs a model and regulation of the biotechnology commercialization system and gives a concept, that is, biotechnology economilization.
