Emotional category synomorphemes in parallel compounds are a category of synonyms. There are three prominent characteristics of these words: First, the morphemic meaning of these synomorphemes, the manner of word-building and the base meaning are the same. And the synonymity is very accurate, the differences are very subtle. Second, emotional morphemic meanings are in a semantic system, and are contrary and similar with each other. The boundary of two similar types of words is blurred between the words, crossed with each other, and not easy to distinguish. Third, the volume of these words is large and frequently used. Such words have always been difficult in language teaching and use. Previous studies solely involved synonyms or words, mainly collections and the distinctions between synonyms. The collections of synonyms and words involved the semantic system and classification, but were not too concerned about the nuances of the word meanings. Previous synonymous research mainly involved theoretical studies of synonyms, dictionary definitions and synonyms analysis. Most of the dictionary definitions are the synonyms explained each other, making it almost impossible to reflect the differences in words meaning. The studies of distinction of synonym words are mostly based on the individual as a unit. Two, three or four (two in the majority) synonyms, which can be easily distinguished, are selected for comparison. Lacking of systematic, paying insufficient attention on the emotional synonymous with morphemic meanings, on the synomorphemes compound synonym, and especially on the emotional category synomorphemesUnder the guidance of modern semantic theory and psychology, in this paper we address systematic research comparing the emotional category synomorphemes in modern Chinese words commonly used. The thesis is divided into six chapters: Chapter I is the introduction; Chapter II is research on emotional meaning and emotional synonymous parallel synonymous vocabulary; Chapter III to Chapter V is the research on classification of synonyms for emotion category of prime Parallel synonyms. Chapter VI is the conclusion. Details are as follows: Chapter I IntroductionThis part comments on the history and present situation of the research in this topic, including the following aspects of the results of studies and the problems: the theoretical research on the synonyms, synonyms discrimination, emotional words study, a synonym compounds study, dictionary definition and several aspects related in briefly reviewed. Based on the study, we set up the scope, the methods and the steps of the study:Research scope: It is the emotional synonymous compounds commonly used in modern Chinese. Methods: First, we collect all emotional synonymous parallel synonymous and compare them in the same synonymous field. This comparative study tries to reveal the situation of each compound synonymous in its semantic field, the semantic differences between each, and the applicability. Second, theoretically, the identical meaning of two words does not exist. Under the guidance of various theories, we do micro-analysis, cognitive analysis, and motivation analysis of the words meaning. Third, we take the dictionary definition as the core, and focus on analysis of the examples. Fourth, we take the common modern Chinese words as the research object, focus on contacting history. Fifth, we make efforts to reveal the links between the synonyms, and establish the semantic system of the synonyms according to these links;Research steps: the associations and definition of the synonymous parallel compounds. First, classify the emotion OF synonymous parallel compounds. Second, do a comparative study of all the emotional synonymous compounds in one synonymous field. Theoretically, the identical meaning of two words does not exist. And we strive to reveal the semantic differences between each other, and the applicability. Third, according to the source of meanings of morphemes and semantic differences, explore its meaning constraints。Fourth, establish the synonyms semantic system.Chapter II The study of emotional semantic position and emotional synonyms parallel synonyms vocabularyThis chapter divided into two parts, the first part is the analysis and research on the emotional semantic position. The second part is the selection, discrimination, classification, tabulation of the emotional synonymous compounds in "Modern Chinese vocabulary commonly used". At first, the emotional meaning in the table is divided into pleasant and unpleasant; then, each category is divided into several sub-groups (synonym group). The vocabulary in this table is the research object in this study. Some sense categories of the synonymous were selected to be the focus of analysis.Chapter III.The Research on Sadness Category of the Synonymous CompoundsStarting with this chapter, synonymous parallel compounds are researched by classification. This chapter is the specific study of the sadness category of the synonymous compounds. Mainly from the following aspects:1.
