A Study On Synonymous Words In Modern Chinese

Based on the Modern Chinese Dictionary(7th edition),this paper uses the methods of quantitative statistics and qualitative analysis,as well as description and interpretation to expatiate on the structural types and semantic features of para-semantic compound words.In a general overview of the compound word class righteousness,mainly introduces the concept of justice compound and its range of specific definition,at the same time to the class of righteousness compound mainly elaborates from the viewpoint of morpheme combination type,found that the general is made up of two grammatical nature of the same morpheme,from the perspective of the concept of justice morpheme,word formation morpheme grammatical attributes are consistent;In the analysis of semantic features of sememe-like compound words,it is mainly discussed from the perspective of whether the relationship between morpheme and semantic is directly related.In the direct correlation between morpheme and semantic,it mainly includes two types: general meaning and partial meaning,while in the indirect correlation between morpheme and semantic,it mainly includes two types: metaphorical meaning and metonymy.Class righteousness compound word synonymous with compound respectively,antisense conjuncts comparison research,found that justice compound has no correspondence characteristic,the inter-translation characteristics mainly manifested in two aspects,one is the morpheme don’t correspond with the word grammatical function,mainly including can’t move correspondence,form wrong should move form not corresponding to three types;The second is the non-correspondence between morpheme meaning and word meaning,which mainly includes three types: semantic generalization,semantic reduction and new meaning generation.Finally,the paper makes a cognitive analysis of the formation reasons of para-semantic compound words,which can be specifically elaborated from three aspects: cognitive mechanism,cognitive basis and cognitive motivation.In terms of cognitive mechanism,the formation of para-semantic compound words is closely related to the metaphorical mechanism and metonymy mechanism.When exploring the cognitive basis of its formation,it is found that it is closely related to the theory of physical structure,and its causes can be explained in detail through four physical roles.At the same time,it is found that the cognitive motivation of the formation of synonym compound words is mainly manifested in two aspects: economic principle and cultural principle.
