"The prose research"and"the Beijing style prose"have always been a chaos. China is a kingdom of prose;the creation of prose is so abundant that it can be called brilliant since old times till now.In the modern age, the prose creation has also been the extraordinary and splendor numerous. However,due to the long term in the the prose theory as well as to the prose style main body characteristic in the understanding of the insufficiency,the whole modern prose research has been actually unsatisfactory, remaining lasting at the level of being dispersing, commonplace, overflowing and old in hundred years of mordon prose study. The present paper research object"Beijing style prose"is also unable to agree similarly.Generally, people all regard the representative personages of the Beijing style literature as the representative writers of the Beijing style prose, for example Zhou Zuoren, Yu Ping bo, FeiMing, LiangYuchun,Shen Congwen,HeQifang,LiGuangtian and so on.The past history of literature generally also considered the Beijing style writers'as the Beijing style human prose, some even expanded infinitely the scope of representative writers of the Beijing style prose.Actually,this is different from the Beijing style prose in the real sense of the history of literature.Whom do the representative writers in the real sense of the history of literature refer to of the Beijing style prose? How has the Beijing style prose developed into a shool? With what? And has rarely been done into its in-depth thought value, prose theory value, literary style exploration value, creation posture enlightenment, over a long period of time profound.In view of this, this article intends to present an closer to the characteristics of the prose itself overall, thorough, and systematic study on the Beijing style prose in the real sense of the history of literature.Present paper falls into three parts: the introduction, the main body, and the conclusion.The introduction part throws light on the shortcoming and development trend of the hundred years'into modern prose research. The main body is divided into eight chapters altogether.The first chapter mainly deals with the role which the series of publications such as "Camel Grass", Da Gong newspaper,"the literary newspaper supplement", "Mercury", "Literature Magazine" played in development history of the Beijing style prose. This chapter holds that, the publication media is not merely the carrier of the Beijing style prose, but also one kind of par agenesis and co-prosperity relations.Not only has it provided the existence material base for the Beijing style prose, but also provided the linguistic environment of spirit and cultural formation and development of the Beijing style prose. More speaking, the publication media has affected the developing shape and the variation of the Beijing style prose, formed the Beijing style prose writer troop and the Beijing style prose creation standard, and restricted the style form of the Beijing style prose. When the Beijing style writers came to the city from the village, its direct and the surface layer psychological induction was first one kind of nostalgia, then was two kinds of or many kinds of cultural collision. But when facing city civilization its in-depth demonstrated as the local cultural man, because the metropolis and the village are not merely regionally and socially different, but different in the cultural shape and the experiencing way."The metropolis space"and"the village space"not merely refer to one kind of solid existing space, but also refer to the poetic space which the spatial place produces and brings.The sixth chapter is intended to inspect philosophical connotation of the time pattern in the Beijing style prose.
