In the Late Qing Dynasty, the anti-church case(Jiao-an) or conflicts between the common people and the church forces in Shandong was mainly caused by a series of collisions between the Catholic and the local society in the spread of the Catholic belief. The core problems of this paper are the deep reason and the intrinsic nature of these collisions.
