Guangxi locates in South China , with Beibu Bay at its south , bordered by Guangdong provice on the east , adjoins Yunnan-Guizhou plateau in the west and adjacent to Vietnam on the southwest . It faces the sea and southeast Asia . It is possessed of unique human geographical features such as borderland , coastal area , nationalities and hometown of overseas Chinese , etc. Its unique and good geographical position occupies a very important part in all western provices . There are twelve national minornties like Zhuang ,Yao ,Miao ,Dong ,Jing living in here for generations. These national minornties are mainly distributed in Hongshui River in the west of Guangxi, area of Left&Right River, the basin of LiuJiang River in center of Guangxi and some areas in the north of Guangxi.As the multi-national bordering province.the national relation of Guangxi have great influence not only on this area , but also on the whole country.
