Zhouyi on the bamboo books of Chu is a text of warring states, owing to being deeply buried under the earth and never being troubled by the people after its being buried, it keeps invaluable original visage. So its turning up and being published has wondrously important value to the study of I-ching in many fields.Zhouyi on the bamboo books of Chu involves many contents, including the interpretation of the difficult characters on the bamboo slips, the study of the original text, the study of the philological value, the study of the value of learning history and the study of the colorful marks in it. This dissertation plans to only study the colorful marks in it which were never being found for more than two thousand years, and it was composed of six chapters.In the first chapter we introduce all the situation of Zhouyi on the bamboo books of Chu in detail, including its being found, collected, coordinated and published. So that we can master the object of study well and truly, and on this base we also comparatively impersonally introduce the situation of the study on Zhouyi on the bamboo books of Chu in the academe at present.In the second chapter we give a brief depiction of Zhouyi on the bamboo books of Chu, and narrate the amount of it in detail, also list these contents, in order to make the scholars consult related information conveniently. In the last part of this chapter we study the time of Zhouyi on the bamboo books of Chu, basing on the all opinions we consider that the time of it is the late period of the middle warring states.In the third chapter we expound the effects of the character of calligraphy style in the study fields in ancient writing. Firstly, we briefly illustrate the importance of the calligraphy style in the study fields in oracle, inscriptions on bronze and the characters of warring states. Secondly , basing on the prefer conclusion we discriminate all the characters written on fifty-eight bamboo slips which is the present Zhouyi on the bamboo books of Chu.
