Study On The Northwest Nation Relations In The Period Of Liao Song Xixia Jin

The paper, guided by the law of the unity of opposite,thinkes the northwest nation relations in the period of Liao Song Xixia Jin assume the stage development.^ each stage there is a main contradiction taking the effect .They are Song Liao contradiction .Song Xia contradiction and Xia Jin contradiction.From 960 to 1038, the main contradiction is Song Liao contradiction.In this stage,the Northern Song dynasty and Qidan are two great powerful countries.Song which unites v/ith Tibetan and Uighur struggles against Liao which unites with Xia.Bing short of confidence and determination,the strategy policies adopted by Song are always passive,so the Tibetan in Liang Zhou and Uighur in Gan zhou are eventually extinguished by Xixia.From 1038 to 1124, Song Xia contradiction moves upward for the main contradiction.lt can be divided into torn stages.First Xixia attackes Song and last Song attackes Xixia .Arranged by the main contradiction,Xia Liao contradiction,Song Tibetan contradiction and Xia Tibetan contradiction also each correspondingly appears two stages.When the Northern Song dynasty launches a strategy counteroffensive against Xixia,Kalahan dynasty also makes attackes on Xixia.From 1124 to 1227, the main contradiction is Xia Jin contradiction.Though Xia Jin's relation isn't close like Xia Liao's relation,but it is more stable.lt makes the northwest nation relation appears different scene.In the beginning of thirteenth century.when the Mongolian army goes down south,Xixia and Jin are the first to be affected. Then Xia Jin contradiction still plays the leading role in the northwest nation relation.Though the northwest nations are at war constantly in this period,they also has many exchanges in economy and civilization. These fit the common desire and the interest of the people of all nations,and is the direction and trunk stream of history.The result of the development of the northwest nation relations create conditions for the Yuan djoiasty to realizes the unified whole China.
