An Analysis Of Ethnic Relations In Liao Taizong Period

Most of the rulers of the Jiangnan regime in Chinese history hoped to conquer Central Plain in the north and recover the lost territory,but few succeeded.In the last years of the Eastern Jin Dynasty,when the political situation was unstable,Emperor Wu of Liu Song,a military general from Zhenjiang,took advantage of the turmoil to rise up.He suppressed peasant uprisings at home and wiped out the separatist forces,in this way,he was able to build the Song Dynasty for the Jin Dynasty and become the founding emperor of the Liu Song Dynasty Dynasty.Although Emperor Wu of Liu Song’s northern expedition was a success,it left unending regrets for the failure to consolidate its military power as it moved south.Based on the research methods of history and ethnology,and on the basis of systematically collecting relevant data,this paper studies the strategic decision-making,the direction of using troops and the dynamic of attack and defense of the Qin Dynasty after Emperor Wu of Liu Song’s northern expedition from the perspective of strategic tactics,in order to discuss the military gains and losses in the course of Emperor Wu of Liu Song’s northern expedition and Qin Dynasty,some historical experiences and lessons can be summed up.The full text is divided into three parts: Introduction,body and conclusion.The introduction introduces the topic of the thesis,the Academic Research on Emperor Wu of Liu Song’s northern expedition,and the innovation of the thesis.The text is divided into five chapters,this paper discusses and analyzes the historical background of Emperor Wu of Liu Song’s northern expedition,the deployment of the northern expedition and the internal struggle in the late Qin Dynasty,the strategic choice between Liu Yu’s western expedition and the Northern Wei Dynasty,the entry of the Jin army and the destruction of the late Qin Dynasty,and the abandonment of the central Shaanxi Plain The conclusion summarizes the strategy and tactics of the northern expedition of Emperor Wu of Liu Song,the military reasons of the rapid destruction of the northern expedition of Emperor Wu of Liu Song,the aim of the northern expedition of Qin,and the main influence of the northern expedition of Emperor Wu of Liu Song.
