Though He Has Brought The World, Of Life

The subject of this study is "The Life-World of Shen Zhou", the main purpose of which is to investigate the life world of the master Shen Zhou of the Wu School of Chinese's middle-Ming dynasty, in addition to the life-style of Suzhou's literatus, in order to emphasize the function and meaning played by the creation and appreciation of poetry, calligraphy and painting in their retreat life. The approach of this study would be sociology of art which regard "cultural field", "social network", and "art world" as three collective dimensions to reconstruct and represent the life-world of Shen Zhou.
