The article investigates the folk performance major of the Benshan art institute of Liaoning University anthropologically, describes the reproduction process of Errenzhuan in university, discusses the different complex motivations behind the production process. The article can be divided into six chapters and conclusion.Chapter one-the introduction combs the related studies and theories of Errenzhuan. The academics mainly pay attention to the thing-in-itself and cultural property. There are a large of number of studies of speaking, sing, acting, dancing and unique skills, the cultural property lies in the aspect of vulgar debate. Chapter two depicts the teachers and students why they come to Benshan art institute to teach and study. In order to go to college, to become famous, to make a lot of money, the students born after 1990s come to the institute studying Errenzhuan. The teachers who were folk artists in the past for the university teachers' identity or inheriting traditional Errenzhuan stay Benshan art institute teaching. The identities of university students and university teachers help them get the social prestige, also help them get many performing opportunities and improve their income.Chapter three and four tells the folk and college two different systems how to produce the knowledge. The two systems conflict, compromise and merge and students adjust themselves to the two different systems having special experience. Although teaching in the college time order and organization dimension, folk artists initiatively hand down the traditional skills and custom of Errenzhuan. They take the teaching method of word of mouth, teach the folk wisdom which got from their master and the song selections which they are good at. Folk artists have no strict time concept, have close relationships with the students in the class and after the class. They take advantage of the scattered time to teach students, and take advantage of their own social relations to help students get performing chances, in fact, they continue the custom of traditional master and apprentice. Facing the lively teaching method of the folk artists, students have the sense of the code of brotherhood and feel the simple and good characters of them, unconsciously accept the folk common morality. In the system of college, Errenzhuan is separated into different major courses, such as singing lessons, folk dancing lessons, speaking skills lessons, repertoire lessons. Correspondingly, the institute sets up certain required courses, for example, vocal lessons, physique lessons, section lines lessons, basic performance lessons. Though, the hard and profound terminologies and theories press the students, they really believe that grasping the knowledge is the necessary way to improve their quality and it is worth costing the expensive tuition. College courses let the students understand the meaning of beauty and ugliness. They also participate in the rich college lives and develop the distance from the pure folk artists. Studying between the folk and college culture, they behave specially, people can distinguish them from other common students easily. Behind the combination of the folk and college exists some conflicts:in response to the situation that the folk artists have no strict time concept, the institute adopts the'fingerprint registration'way to restrict them; folk artists harbor some criticism about the vocal practices, university teachers comment the folk teaching methods a lot. At the same time, the folk artists and the college system have to compromise with each other, university teachers select teaching contents around the program rehearsal, revise the teaching plans according to students'cases; when folk artists rehearse the programs or lead the students outside the university to perform, they must obey the university's directions and arrangements. In combination conflicting, compromising in conflict, the university as absorbs the folk wisdom to enlarge its forces as reconstructs the folk knowledge in the process.Chapter five depicts the reconstructions and reproductions of Errenzhuan in various circumstances. There are three types of students' performances:in name of Benshan media, in name of liaoning University, students'part-time job. In first type performance, they give shows of palace, TV comic series and rural themes plays, the programs'styles corresponding to the taste of mainstream culture, though on behalf of the folk. In the second type of performance, they perform before inspection of the leaders and foreign friends and in Spring Festival Party and Art Festival, etc, their programs show elegant skills and the will of the state. The third type performances follow the market economy and the law of value, return to the folk banter and joking and utilitarian. Errenzhuan falls to absolute recreation and consuming products.Chapter six elaborates the state, the university, the artist and the mass media, every actor's capital transformation during the process of reproductions of Errenzhuan. The production and development of Benshan art institute is the consequence of collusion and conspiracy of many factors. In conclusion, the article discusses the reproduction of Errenzhuan in modern society, it is influenced by many kinds of elements, but the essence of traditions always does everything possible to inherit. No matter what changes, Errenzhuan ought to maintain its flexible form, maintain its criticism, resistance, abreaction and compensation characters or it can't adjust to the society' situations, becomes the real cultural heritage. Errenzhuan wants to improve its social position urgently, in the university it is reproduced according to the elegant cultural value, not only its thing-in-itself trends fine, but also its performers divorce from the folk and become the spokesman of the university knowledge.
