Clinical Study Of Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) Patients Treated By Sequentially Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) Colon Dialysis Which Renal Function Are Between Three And Five Stage

ObjectiveTo observe the variation of clinical symptoms,delayed renal dysfunction and Glomerular Filtration Rate (GFR) in Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) patients which renal function are between three and five stage after treated by sequentially Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) colon dialysis therapy. Explore the advantages and its mechanisms of sequentially TCM colon dialysis therapy.MethodsIn this study, 60 cases of CKD patients which renal function are between three and five stage were divided into three groups accordance with the principles of randomization: basic add drug treatment group,common herbs retention-enema group and sequentially TCM colon dialysis group. The changes of Serum Creatinine (Scr),GFR,Creatinine Clearance Rate (Ccr) and TCM Syndrome Study points were observed. The statistics were treated by statistical package SPSS11.5. Measurement datas were described with mean±standard deviation (X±S). The main measurement datas before and after treatment was compared with matched-pairs t-test. Three groups were compared with One-Way-ANOVA. Both inter-group compared with the Little Significant Difference (LSD) adjustment method. Enumeration data were chi-square tested and P <0.05 for statistical significance.ResultsTCM Syndrome Study points and Biochemical indicators are different before and after treatment of three groups obviously(P<0.05).Comparison among the three groups have differences(P <0.05).These showed that sequentially TCM colon dialysis therapy have obviously advantage in improving TCM Syndrome Study points and GFR compared with basic add drug treatment group and common herbs retention-enema group.ConclusionThis research confirms that sequentially TCM colon dialysis therapy has better effect in CKD patients which renal function are between three and five stage. In this therapy progress,not only we can Bianbing,but also Bianzheng Lunzhi,and formulate corresponding prescription according to different syndrome that enhanced the curative effect.This therapy is one of the importment methods of conventional integrated traditional and western basic treatment in CKD patients which renal function are between three and five stage.
