Extraction Of Syndrome Elements And Target Corresponding Combination Law Of Dysfunctional Uterine Bleeding (DUB)

Objective:To study the syndrome elements and their combination law of dysfunctional uterine bleeding(DUB) by using data mining methods and set up the standardization of TCM syndrome diagnosis for DUB.Methods:1. The proper research methods in the research of TCM syndrome diagnosis standard of DUB were searched by reviewing the contemporary studies of TCM syndrome of DUB.2. The extraction of syndrome elements of DUB and the target corresponding combination law of these elements was studied by studying ancient literature on metrorrhagia and metrostax.3. The extraction of syndrome elements DUB and the target corresponding combination law of these elements was studied by using data mining methods according to the study of the latest 10 years literature for DUB.4. It is proper to know clearly on DUB by studying dynamic changes in different ages and analyzing the affects of comparison of the syndrome elements and their combination law of DUB in Ancient and Modern times.Results:1. According to the review of modern studies of TCM syndrome for DUB, it is found that the syndrome differences of DUB refers to different standards, which cause confusion of syndrome diagnosis and syndrome differentiation, hinder the development of clinical and scientific research to treat DUB by Chinese herb; the medical terminology of symptoms and syndromes are not standardization which lay restraints on the clinical exchange; syndrome types are complicated and changeable that the present reference standard can't completely include them; a regular model of syndrome diagnosis standard can hardly fit in with the needs of the complexity of DUB symptoms, which lead to errors and omissions of clinical syndrome differentiation. Advance that achieve the standardization of syndrome diagnosis by sorting out syndrome elements of DUB.2. By using data mining methods, we, firstly, make analyses on the appearing rate of the basic syndromes of Metrorrhagia and metrostax according to those famous ancient doctors literatures, then sort out syndrome elements; secondly, launch research to the relationship between syndrome element and its subordinate symptom according to those ancient Metrorrhagia and metrostax disease cases by using data mining method; finally, carry on comparative analysis of three results of study and established the key elements:Qi deficiency,blood deficiency, internal heat (sthenic heat, deficiency heat), Yin deficiency, blood stagnation, Qi stagnation and yang deficiency. Targets are spleen, chongren, liver, heart and kidney. The association law is that 7 kinds of syndrome elements can get 25 kinds of combination forms, having contained 90.30% of the disease cases to count, the clinical coincidence rate is good.3. By using data mining methods, we study the past 10-year moden DUB literatures, and sort out syndrome elements; then sort out the key elements:Qi deficiency, internal heat(sthenic heat, deficiency heat), blood stagnation, Yin deficiency, yang deficiency, Qi stagnation and blood deficiency. Targets are kidney,spleen, liver, uterine, chongren and heart. The association law is that 7 kinds of syndrome elements can get 37 kinds of combination forms, having contained 95.37% of the disease cases to count, the clinical coincidence rate is good.4. By carry on comparative analysis to the syndrome elements and targets for DUB in the modern and ancient times, we find that deficiency (Qi deficiency, Yin deficiency, yang deficiency and blood deficiency), internal heat, blood stagnation, Qi stagnation are always the key syndrome elements from ancient times; but the target has changed from spleen deficiency in ancient to kidney deficiency in modern times.Conclusions:1. The investigation of literature, especially the general study of ancient and modern literature, is one of the important tasks and approaches in the scientific research of traditional Chinese medicine.2. "Structuring the new mode of dialectical system with the core of the syndrome element" is a new thinking of perfecting the dialectical system of diabetes, its core is the key syndrome element. The research of the key syndrome element and it combined law will bring the study come back to base. "The disease and syndrome are combined, the prescription and syndrome is corresponding", this thinking is significant to perfecting the clinical dialectical theory and improving the clinical curative effect. Using database discover knowledge and data mining method, such as Bayesnet is one of the important means to set up the platform of the standardization of dialectical theory of TCM.3. The study of the relativity between disease and syndrome is the cognition of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) about the disease of syndrome. The cognition is dynamic. Therefore, from the dynamic perspective to research is more comprehensive and accurate.
