Clinical Observation On The Effect Of Jiuxin Soap On The Patients With Chronic Heart Failure

ObjectiveThis study was performed to observe the curative effect of the traditional Chinese herb medicine Jiuxin Soap on the disease of chronic heart failure.Methods1.90 patients with CHF were divided randomly into two groups:the controlled group(treated with appropriate western medicine for CHF)and the treatment group(treated with Jiuxin Soap as well as the same kinds of western medicine as given to the controlled group),there were 60 patients in treatment group,and the group was derided in group 1 and group 2,treated with shengmailingguijinxin soap and shengmaizhenwujinxin soap.The dosage for jiuxin soap was 150ml,3 times daily,there were 30 patients in controlled group,The treatment time was 2 weeks;2.Observing the symptoms,signs and total effective ratios before and after the treatment,making a statistical disposal and comparing the curative effect;3.Examining six—minute walking test,BNP in the blood et al before and after the treatment.Results1.The symptoms and signs of the patients on the 3 groups after the treatment were better than those before treatment.Compared the three groups,the total effective rate of the treatment groups(include group 1 and group 2) were significantly better than the controlled group(P＜0.05),and there were no diffrence between group 1 and group 2.2.The parameters of the left ventricular systolic were all improved than those before in all the groups.There was significant difference(P＜0.05) in increasing the cardiac performance,when both of the treatment groups(include group 1 and group 2) were compared with the controlled group,and there were no diffrence between group 1 and group 2.3.Compared with before treatment,all the groups had significant difference(P＜0.05) in the content of BNP in the plasma after the treatment.There was significant difference(P＜0.05)in declining the content of BNP,when the treatment groups(include group 1 and group 2) were compared with the controlled group,and there were no diffrence between group 1 and group 2..4.The total distance walked of six-minute walking test of all the groups after the treatment was longer than that before treatment.And the walk distance of the treatment groups were significantly better than the controlled group(P＜0.05),group 1 was significantly better than the group 2(P＜0.05) ConclusionJiuxin Soap has a constant effect on the CHF patients in the clinical practice.It can relieve the symptoms and signs of CHF,reduce,increase the walk distance of six-minute walking test.It showed that the systolic-diastolic performances became stronger and the contents of BNP declined obviously after Jiuxin soap treatment.The possible mechanism of Jiuxin Soap can result from multiple factors and multiple targets.So further studies will help clarify its role in CHF.Trying to cumulate evidence of Nuanxin Capsule through evidence-based medicine which may provide a new view on the research of retarding the progression of CHF process and the reduction of CHF mortality.
