Acquired immunodeficiency Deficiency Syndrome(AIDS) is a chronic infections disease of the human immune system caused by the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV).This condition progressively reduces the effectiveness of the immune system and leaves individuals susceptible to opportunistic infections and tumors and causes a high mortality rate.Currently popular in the world AIDS still continue.HIV infections and deaths of digital high.UNAIDS report in December 2007 estimates that have HIV 39-40 million in the world.From the initial HIV infection is a relatively long time to end-stage process.The process is divided into general AIDS acute,asymptomatic stage and AIDS.Medical research is still not a thorough success cure for AIDS,also not succeeded in producing vaccine to prevent HIV infection.HIV treatment still emphasizes integrated treatment.Current treatment for HIV infection consists of highly active antiretroviral therapy,or HAART.This has been highly beneficial to many HIV-infected individuals when the protease inhibitor-based HAART initially became available.HAART also has many side effects,meanwhile, the TCM are found in the treatment of AIDS has bright prospect.In the thesis,we analyzed some AIDS,especially the AIDS in Cambodia by Epidemic Febrile Diseases of TCM.We thought of AIDS in Cambodia belongs to a kind of Epidemic Febrile Diseases such as diseases caused by summer-heat and damp.Firstly we did research the common symptoms of TCM syndromes and characteristics of 288 cases of HIV/AID patients.All cases were from Cambodia bodhisattva province,in December 2007 August 2008.Male 116 cases,Female 172 cases,18 to 55 years old,patients infected time for 1998 to 2006.We adopted the questionnaire of clinical symptoms for HIV infections. Survey results showed the top 10 symptoms are fatigue,poor appetite, forgetfulness,dry mouth,insomnia,spontaneous sweating,chest distress,less stuffy,abdominal distension and dizziness.The cases with red tongue were most prominent in 288 cases,32.64%.Greasy coating was the highest proportion,26.74%.Deficiency of vital energy,sufficiency of the spleen and deficiency of yin were the most common symptom.We also observed the tongue of the 352 AIDS patients in Cambodia.On this basis,we formulated the scheme of Yiqi Yangyin Huashi Fang as the adjuvant therapy for AIDS treatment.Results showed Yiqi Yangyin Huashi Fang can greatly improve the antiviral medicine and reduce the adverse effects.These displayed the TCM dialectical executes,adjust measures to local conditions,treating the same disease with different methods may have great advantage in the treatment of AIDS.
