Thought Mode Of Image And Number In Huangdi's Internal Classic

Based on the summarization of developing law of general thought of human being , this thesis analyzes the social and cultural background of formation of though made in Huangdi's Internal Classic, the main points to expound are theories of similar reaction ,compatibility with natural law and classification horizontally ; image and number thought , variant thought and complement thought in Classic of Change ; Daoist qi theory, inaction conception and dialectic thinking in Dioism ; golden mean and ethics-based governce in Confucianism ; and some other theories , which had influenced the formation of though mode in Huangdi's Internal Classic.The study summarizes the meaning , feature and method of image thought ; and expounds the image that mode in Huangdi's Internal Classic from the different respects of Yin-Yang mode and five- elements mode. The Yin-Yang mode mainly presents one Yin and one Yang, greater and lesser Yin or yang, three Yin and three Yang, and Yin or Yang visceral picture. The five-elements mode mainly presents classification according to five elements , promotion among the five elements, restriction among the five elements, alternative preponderance among the five elements ,and five-elements visceral picture.The study summarizes the meaning, feature and method of number thought, and systematizes the member thought in Huangdi's Internal Classic. there are two modes in number thought, i.e, simple number though and compound number thought. The former includes integration of Dao and Qi, dual contrast, three materials and three portions, four dimensions and four images, classification according to the five elements, Six combinations, seven regions, eight sides of wind and nine fields. The latter includes double three ,five, six, seven, eight, nine, three and six , three and nine ; as well as three combining with five, correspondence of four to five ,match between five and six , and mutual pertaining of seven and eight. This paper also comprehensively analyzes the natural phenomena, human structure, life activity, onset of disease, pathological change, diagnosis and treatment of disease, etc. that were involved with number though in Huangdi's Internal Classic.
