Purposes: Through sorting out and digging the words related to the treating spirit in the Huangdi Neijing(Yellow Emperor’s Internal Classic)and A-B Classic of Acupuncture and Moxibustion,explore the elucidation logic of A-B Classic of Acupuncture and Moxibustion on the thought of treating spirit in the Huangdi Neijing,and dig out the academic characteristics of A-B Classic of Acupuncture and Moxibustion,summarize and sort out the development of the theory and application of acupuncture and moxibustion in ancient acupuncture and moxibustion related medical books,and the characteristic interpretation of modern thought of treating spirit.Enrich the theoretical system of acupuncture treatment of spirit,in order to provide reference for clinical practice of acupuncture treatment of spirit.Methods: Make a profound study of ancient and modern relevant documents and sort out the theory of "Shen".Study the ancient and modern research literature of the theory of treating spirit in Neijing,summarize the main interpretation and classification of the theory of treating spirit in later generations,deeply study the structure system of the whole book of A-B Classic of Acupuncture and Moxibustion,excavate the layout method of A-B Classic of Acupuncture and Moxibustion for the words related to treating spirit in Neijing,and interpret the elucidation logic therein.Read the classics,collect the literature related to the theory of treating spirit,and sort out the inheritance and development of treating spirit by doctors of past dynasties.Results and conclusions:1.Due to the influence of ancient philosophy,the meaning of "Shen" in traditional Chinese medicine theory has something in common with the meaning of "Shen" in ancient philosophy.In the scientific system of traditional Chinese medicine,the meaning of "Shen" is also selfcontained,which can be divided into the "Shen" of natural and the "Shen" of human body.The "Shen" of human body can also be divided into thethe innate primordial spirit and the acquired spirit.The the innate primordial spirit and the acquired spirit are interrelated and influence each other,and the internal guard of the innate primordial spirit is of great significance to the regulation of human body state.2.A-B Classic of Acupuncture and Moxibustion has their own arrangement logic for the treating spirit in the Neijing,which is a systematic treatment of the treating spirit in the Neijing,and can be specifically classified into several different interpretations,such as judging the spirit,regulating the spirit,using the spirit,and perfecting the spirit.There are also some shortcomings in the editing of the treating spirit,but it does not affect its great significance in the inheritance of the thought of acupuncture treating the spirit.3.The ancient medical books related to acupuncture and moxibustion have a stable inheritance of the thought of treating the spirit at the theoretical level,and have developed at the application level.Including the application of acupoints to treat various diseases;using meditation,Qigong and other methods to treat diseases;cooperating with tranquilizing drugs to treat diseases;acupuncture combined with charm to treat diseases.4.Modern acupuncture scholars have a relatively general understanding of acupuncture treating spirit,such as the interpretation of Chinese medicine textbooks on the treatment of the mind.It also has relatively unique understanding and application,such as the combination of acupuncture and Qigong,and the acupuncture of acupoints or acupoints to treat the spirit.
