This thesis probed the development of Fever Diseases Caused by Exogenous Pathogenic Factors and its syndrome—treatment and preseription—drugs through combining documentary study with modern statistic method,and more consulting and new ideas effetively preventing and treating Fever Diseases Caused by Exogenous Pathogenic Factors were wished to be offered.In the first part,,using documentary method to gather and sorting out ancient Fever Diseases Caused by Exogenous Pathogenic Factors document of TCM,and summarizing and reviewing generally diabetic thesis of doctors in every dynasty from history developing angle,and analyzing systematically its name history,disease cause pathogenesis,differentiation of symptoms and signs,principle of treatment,prescription—drugs and so on..Trying to find the developing regular of treating Fever Diseases Caused by Exogenous Pathogenic Factors in accordance with differentiation of symptoms and signs,which was basic research of documentary study in future.In the second part,the thesis studies medical notes treating Fever Diseases Caused by Exogenous Pathogenic Factors with statistic methods;analyzes the treatment condition and characters of Fever Diseases Caused by Exogenous Pathogenic Factors of the times of Song and yuan Dynasty,Ming and Qing Dynasty and every historical periods of modern times from the view point of frequency analysis,factor analysis and collection analysis;analyzes and discusses holistically the disease's order of recipe and herbs, syndromes and treatment and order of herbs compatibility.In the third part,based on the results of literature research and statistics analysis,and in combination with the theories of TCM,the thesis re-recognizes the disease's pathogen and pathogenesis, category,clinical thoughts and order of treatment based on differentiation of symptoms and signs.The thesis importantly analyzes difference of Shanghan and Wenbing;puts forward unification of cold pathogenic disease and epidemic febrile disease with "Four Step Method";thinks that combined use of warm and cool drugs and the use of treating exterior and interior disease at the same time are common used-metheds and puts forward new thoughts of treatment of Fever Diseases Caused by Exogenous Pathogenic Factors based on differentiation of symptoms and signs.
