Objective: Research to the mechanism of the function of nerve protection to the secondary injury in intercerebral hemorrage by BaiHui-QuBin scalp-acupuncture cave on the experiment rat .Methods : 1.Selected the healthy Wistar male rats of 160 by examination. The rats were assigned into 3 sets randomly: model set, pinprick set, westem medicine set. containing 50 rats in each. Each set were again divided into five time phase point of 6 hours, 1 day, 2days, 3days, 7days .containing 10 rats in each. All rats were made to be the intercerebral hemorrage model. Another 10 rats were assigned as the matched blank set. 2. The acupuncture point: BaiHui point to QuBin point, which can penetrate three regions of the cupula and forehead and temple. 3.We Observated the damage extent of the nerve function of each set in deferent time phase point with the neuroethology index ; Observated the change of the brain histomophology of each set in deferent time phase point with light microscope and electron microscope.4. Observated the change surrounding the hamatoma of the messengerRNA and the proteinum expression of NSE.EAA.BDNF of each set in deferent time phase point with the methods of immunity histochemistry and in situ hybridizationResults:1. Compare with the model set, the pinprick set's nerve function defection and damage was abatement.Both were relatively showed the significant difference ( p<0.01) and havd the statistical significant. Compare with the westem medicine set, the pinprick set's nerve function defection and damage relatively showed the significant difference ( p<0.01 )and havd the statistical significant.2. The patho alteration of brainrissue under light microscope the pinprick set is more significant than model set and compare with the model set, the westem medicine set was relatively showed no significant difference.3. The pinprick set is more significant than model set and compare with the model set, the westem medicine set was relatively showed no significant difference under electron microscope.4. The detecting result of NSE with the methods of immunity histochemistry: In the model set and the pinprick set, the expression of NSE of rat's brain tissue surrounding the hematoma was increased gradually and to the peak in 3days with the increasing of different time phase point , but decreased gradually in 7days.In the same time phase point, Compare with the model set, the pinprick set's expression of NSEwas lower obviously. Both were relatively showed the significant difference (p<0.01) and havd the statistical significant. In the same time phase point, Compare with the westem medicine set, the pinprick set's expression of NSE was lower obviously .Both were relatively showed the significant difference (p<0.01) and havd the statistical significant.5. Both were relatively showed the significant difference (p<0.01) and havd the statistical significant. In the same time phase point, Compare with the westem medicine set, the pinprick set's expression of EAA was lower obviously .Both were relatively showed the significant difference (p<0.01) and havd the statistical significant.Conclusions:1. Acupancturing scalp cave on the rat of the experiment intercerebral hemorrage can relieve the extent of the neurologic impairment.2. The acupuncture of BaiHui-QuBin scalp cave on the rat of the experiment intercerebral hemorrage inhibit the expression of NSE of rat's brain tissue surrounding the hematoma.3. The acupuncture of BaiHui-QuBin scalp cave on the rat of the experiment intercerebral hemorrage inhibit the expression of EAA of rat's brain tissue surrounding the hematoma.4. The acupuncture of BaiHui-QuBin scalp cave on the rat of the experiment intercerebral hemorrage can promote the expression ofBDNF of rat's brain tissue surrounding the hematoma.
