The evaluation on venous flaps nourished by venous pedicles is very different. The purpose of this study is to investigate the changes of blood circulation and carbodrate metabolism after the venous flap transplant and to study the survivalmaehanism of venous flap and the law of clinic application,In experimental study, three sorts of grafts 3 x 4cm in size , were elevated along the axis of thoraco-epigastric vein in rabbits: (1) Venous flap remaining the distal and cephalad venous pedicles. (2) Free flap without blood circulation. (3) Axial flap remaining the cephalad artery and vein, 1 to 48 hours after venous flap transplant, there were not blood circulation in superfacial derma. In fascia, venous blood flow slowly from the princial vein to its attributive vein , and then from one attibutive vein to the others through small anastomotic veins. No backflow from venules into capillaries. 72 hours postoperation, the anastomotic venules between venules and capillary anastomoses conecting the tips of venules opened gradually. New blood vessels began to grow toward the center of flap. The microcircular blood flow rate of skin increased. 4 days postoperation arterial blood with low violet appeared in the primary arteries and capllaries of the flap and the backflow of venous biood disappeared. 7 days postoperation. the violet of blood flow and the microcircular blood flow rate of skin were same to that of normal skin and fascia, but the numbers of arteries and veins were large. 14 days postoperation, small arteries continued to multiply and the microcircular blood flow rate of skin continued to increase. 2t days postoperation. hyperplasia of small arteries and the microcircular blood flow rate of sk(?)n decreased. 6 weeks postoperation, the territories of arteries and veins of the flap...
