Lung cancer is the leading cause of cancer-related deaths, and the incidence is still increasing. Satage of tumor at the time of clinical diagnosis is one of the most important parameter influcing the prognosis of patients with lung carcinoma. Despite the progress of modern diagnostic techniques, the present screening strategies aimed detecting early lung cancer have remained unsatisfactory.1. We analyzed 194 serum samples from 154 lung cancer patient and 40 aged-and sex-matched non tumor control by SELDI ,the proteins in the sera selectively combine on the WCX proteinchips. The results were summarized as follows: (1) There are 16 different proteins (p<0.0001) in the sera btween lung cancer and normal control ,10 are over expressed in the lung cancer patients and 6 low expressed. (2) The five different proteins 11493Da, 8245Da, 5335Da and 2538Da were employed to establish the system training and the development of a dicision classification tree. (3) The seusitivity and specificity of early and advanced lung cancer are 77%, 80% and 91%, 80% respectively.2. We detected some of the sera samples mentioned above by the method of immunofluorescence and Western blot. The result showed that: (1) antoantibody to U1-A snRNP was found in the sera of patient with lung cancer. (2)The U1-A snRNP antoantibody may be...
