Microtia Pedigree Collection And Vrk1 Gene Mutation Detection

Objective: the purpose of the study was to collect pedigree data ofcongenital mictotia through clinical research.Material and methods: We proceeded collection of congenital microtiapedigrees in plastic hospital of Chinese academy of medical science fromSeptember 2003 to October 2005, and the main methods were as follows:(1) The criteria of congenital microtia pedigree: at least one of thefirst-degree relatives of the propositi was the patient of congenitalmicrotia;(2)All of the test members were apprized the trial and signed the informedconsent;(3)The test members which signed the informed consent werephlebotomized 5ml blood and extracted whole genomic DNA;(4)Acquired the whole data of pedigree by inquiring the propositi andother members of the family; then drew the pedigree using the softwareof Cyrillic2.1.Results: we had collected 17 pedigrees of congenital microtia and...
