Based on the foundation of these research , discussing the merit and the shortcoming of Exclusive Xiang and Exclusive Xiang iatrology,and bring forward amelioration method. Discuss the issue of Xiang, which is very important to grasp the thinking of Zhongjing and to accelerate the rising of theory and clinical of Chinese medicine. On the other hand, it also play an active part in the development of Shanghanzabinglun subject. To supervise the theory innovation and appliance expand, it also has significant meaning. Production can provide the stratagem decision-making and the referrence gist to the theory of Zhongjing,,s. This thesis involves in 6 parts: In first part we mainly discuss the conception and the character of Xiang and the Exclusive Xiang iatrological way of thinking. In second part we mainly discuss the connection between Chinese Medicine and Xiang. We bring forward the point that right understanding of Xiang is the base of Chinese medicine At the same time we combine many examples in Lingshu , Suwen and Shanghanzabinglun to proof this point of view. The writer put forward three point: Xiang is the important gist of the theory construction of Chinese Medicine; Xiang is the important gist of the clinical practice of Chinese Medicine; Xiang is the important epistemological base of Chinese Medicine. Therefore, the best way to develop Chinese Medicine is to strengthen the research of Xiang. In part 3 we discuss the recordation of Xiang in Shanghanzabinglun. By way of summarize, conclude and analyze all kinds of Xiang in Shanghanzabinglun we can see the regular pattern and the characteristic of Xiang in Shanghanzabinglun. We can divide the Xiang in Shanghanzabinglun into seven genuses : Xiang of malady, Xiang of symptom, Xiang of tongue, Xiang of pulse, Xiang of complexion, Xiang of abdomen sign, Xiang of medicine sign.
