Objection:To observe the effects of Xiang Pi Sheng Ji-san on the expression of epidermal grouth factor (EGF) in the newborn granulation of chronic skin ulcer in rat models, and to discuss the function of Xiang Pi Sheng Ji-san in promting wound healing, so as to afford dependability for treatment.Methods:The SD rats were randomly devided into Xiang Pi Sheng Ji-san group, Kang Fu Xin-ye group and model group. According to the ameliorating plastic ring quantifying method of Shen Dao Xiu, the rats were into chronic skin ulcer models. Every group was randomly devided into two day time of the 7th day and 14th day after operation. Every time ten rans were killed in every group. Abrosia before the operation, to detect EGF with immunohistochemical method.Result:The average healing time of Xiang Pi Sheng Ji-san group was 4 days(P< 0.05) and 7 days(P< 0.01) earlier than that of Kang Fu Xin-ye group and model group respectively. The wunt and distribution of the EGF in the nowborn granulation of Xiang Pi Sheng Ji-san group were booth superior to the Kang Fu Xin-ye group((P< 0.05) and model group(P< 0.01),while the other indicators were all better than the other two groups. Conclussion:Xiang Pi Sheng Ji-san can upergulate the expression of EGF in the granulation tissule of wound so as to promote wound healing.
