| Intracerebral hemorrhage(ICH) is one of common cerebrovascular disease ,it was paid close attention because of it,s serious invalidity and high mortality.After reviewing of the treatment for acute intracerebral hemorrhage by modern medicine and traditional Chinese medicine,based on the theories about apoplexy in traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) and modern medicine and the views of Professor Fu Weiming ,who is the author,s supervisor,it was explored that the pathogenesis and treatment of acute ICH.The author thinks that blood retention,water retention and poison retention of brain distribute to the pathology of acute intracerebral hemorrhage and cerebral edema, promoting blood circulation and clearing stasis are the key to treatment this disease.The therapy has many functions,such as removing blood stasis, purging heat by catharsis,diuresis,removing toxic material and so on.NaoXueTong mixture, which is prepared according to the treatment principle of eliminating blood-stasis and dredging brain blood vessels ,consists of shuizhi,dahuang and lingxiaohua.In order to determine the curative effect of this therapy on acute ICH,52cases were divided randomly into a treatment group (26cases) receiving NaoXueTong mixture and routine western therapy and a control group(26 cases) treated only with routine western therapy, the neurological functions (the scores of neurological defect), neurological image (hematoma volumes and brain edema on CT scan) and blood rheology were made before and after treated.The result showed that statistically significant differences in a effective rate of57.69percent of treatment group compared to 23.07percent of control group.(P<0.05).It indicated that NaoXueTong mixture can improve the patients` symptoms and signs remarkably,reduce brain edema and promote absorption of hematoma , increase cerebral blood flow and improve the index of blood rheology, neurological defect. |
