Objective: To study the effects and its mechanism of Acupuncture-moxibustion and acupoits-injection on anti-hepatofibrosis from the way of liver function and ECM.MethodsrHepatofibrosis model was induced in rats by CCL and meanwhile treated by Acupuncture-moxibustion and acupoits-injection with Colchicines as control, serum level of ALT, albumin and C-I, C-III , FN, LN, MMP , UFA , TIMP in liver tissue were observed. Results:Compared with model group , Serum ALT were lower and albumin higher in Acupuncture-moxibustion and acupoits-injection group; C-I, C-III, FN, LN in liver tissue were lower; MMP, UFA more and TIMP less. Conclusion: Acupuncture and acupoits-injection have preventive and therapeutic effects on hepatofibrosis, and its mechanism is related to improving liver function .reducing the deposition of ECM such as collagen , increasing the degradation of ECM by the way of MMP/TIMP.
