Syncope and prostration syndrome, commonly-seen clinical critical state, are similar as western medicine's shock according to their clinical manifestation and evalution. Though the basic theoretical research to shock with modern medical view has reached the cellular level, subcellular level and molecular level, according to the literature report, the fatality rate is still very high. The fatality rate of infectious shock reaches 30-60%; cardipgenic shock close to 80%. Traditional Chinese medicine has its distinctive advantage to treat syncope and prostration syndrome. Fu Fang Ren Shen Injection with a swift and good anti-shock function is different from traditional decoction. It works quickly and safely. The anti-shock function is manifested not only on raising the blood pressure but also on changing blood supply to the important organs. Fu Fang Ren Shen Injection is a traditional Chinese medical compound injection with high and quick effect and great convinience. According to the related rules about state second category new drug, after long time efforts, Fu Fang Ren Shen Injection has completed its most pre-clinical research work. On the basis of the job which has been done already, this essey is about the observation of Fu Fang Ken Stien injection's function and mechanism further. Fu Fang Ren Shen Injection is compared with the single chemical component; and it is discovered that the survival rate of mice with tramatic shock can be increased; animal's ability of hypoxia is enhanced and acidosis due to animal cerebral ischemic can be resisted. Macrophage, vascular endotheliocyte were taken as objects of study. Fu Fang Ren Shen Injection's obvious protecting function to vascular endotheliocyte impairment due to TNF-α is discovered. Abnormal increase of macrophage iNOS activity and NO level due to TNF-α can be resisted, decrease of vascular endotheliocyte eNOS activity and NO level due to TNF-α can be resisted. Standard fingerprint atlas of medical material, intermediate and injection are set up after comprehensive analysing. Great development is made in traditional Chinese medical injection quality evaluation and controlling.
