| Xin'an medicine began at the Song Dynasty, flourished in the Ming and Qing in the south of Anhui. It is considered to be a typical representative microcosm of medicine in the Ming and Qing Dynasties. Xin'an medicine occupied an important position in the academic development history of traditional Chinese medicine. It is because of its deeply elucidation of Chinese classic and clinical diagnosis and treatment. The results of its study classical doctrine is quite transcend.Xin'an physicians applied a variety of methods such as research, collation, comment, collection and clinical uses. The content includes elucidation of tradition Chinese medicine classics, syndrome applications by Xin'an doctors, concentrates and covers basic theory of traditional Chinese medicine and clinical knowledge. So the paper chooses the Xin'an typhoid literature of Ming and Qing dynasty as object. The paper analysis formation environment of Xin'an medicine, settles Xin'an typhoid literature domain, explores research methods of treatise on fever by Xin'an doctors, grasps typhoid academic thought and characteristics of using classical prescription. The work aims at mastering the academic characteristics of Ming and Qing Xin'an physicians, studying treatise on febrile disease, understanding theoretical system of Chinese medicine. It is significant for deepening thinking about clinical and culturing talent to some extent.The results suggest that:Ming and Qing Xin'an doctors renumbering the original annotation to distinguish abnormal pulse and governance, collated textual, mining sages essence, clinical medical records and thematic elucidation of a comprehensive study, made a multi-dimensional study on treatise on Febrile Disease.There are26units156volumes typhoid treatises,7monographs and280medical records by Ming and Qing physicians existing now. It can be divided into two categories according to their content:one is original notes about treatise on fever following arrangement order, the other is guidance of clinical treatment of experience. Xin'an physicians made detailed elucidation about the meaning of typhoid, six classics, main syndromes and outline of six meridians, pathogenesis of six meridians, disease mass change of six meridians, co-disease, complication disease,two sense and so on.Xin'an physicians not only focused on febrile theory, but also clinical uses.
