Study Based On Data Mining Of Endogenous Wind Syndromes And Medication Rules In Ancient Medical Cases

Disturbance of endogenous wind is one of the most common syndromes in boththeory and clinic of TCM, there is amount of data recorded in both ancient literature andmodern literature. As the data which reflected the doctors' experience on this syndrome ismostly recorded in scattered ways, until now there is no systematic induction, summaryand arrangement. Therefore, lots of the important information and experience that shouldbe common, universal and significant to the clinic has not been sublimated. This greatlyinfluenced the development and perfectibility of basic theory of TCM. We take theendogenous wind syndromes recorded in ancient medical cases as the study object. Ascomprehensive as possible we collected the cases of endogenous wind syndromes,recorded various information contained in these cases and builded the information database.Processing the information of the cases by standardization, applying frequency analysis,multivariate statistical methods and analysis of association rules in data mining andarrangement. We try to discover the common rules of population characteristics,distribution of disease, pathogenic factors, characteristics of syndromes and prescriptionand compatibility. Focus on analyzing the effect of blood stasis to the formation ofendogenous wind syndromes in a variety of pathogenic factors, syndromes distribution, therelationship with other syndromes factors, and the application of the medicine whichpromoting blood circulation to remove blood stasis in the treatment of endogenous windsyndromes and so on. Dicussing the correlation between "blood stasis" and "endogenouswind" in the course of endogenous wind syndromes from different perspectives. Providingobjective basis for the pathogenesis hypothesis of "blood stasis causing wind", enrich andperfect the theory system of "disturbance of endogenous wind" and providing reference forclinical medicine and research of TCM.
