Periarthriris humeroscapularis is a frequently occurring and common disease in clinical, and has serious impact on people's daily lives and health. At present western medicine is still lack of effective and safe treatment. Acupuncture treatment has a significant effect on periarthriris humeroscapularis, but there are a lots of problems in selecting point, and have not the specification for operation. Therefore, the specification point selection and optimization of treatment programs, has an important significance for acupuncture treatment of Periarthriris humeroscapularisObjectiveTo evaluate and compare the curative effect and dominance of acupuncture by Jiantong point and Gallbladder34(GB34), on periarthriris humeroscapularis. And to find the best acupuncture prescription of periarthriris humeroscapularis.MethodsNinety cases of periarthriris humeroscapularis were chosen, and divided randomly into Group I (n=30, treated with traditional acupuncture plus electroacupuncture), Group Ⅱ (n=30, treated with traditional acupuncture plus Jiantong point, and shoulder movement), and GroupⅢ(n=30, treated with traditional acupuncture plus GB34, and shoulder movement). All of them were treated once a day. Ten days was a course. After treated for two courses, they were followed up after the treatment for one month. The main symptoms and physical signs of periarthriris humeroscapularis, the score of MPQ, and the quality of life (SF-36) were compared between the three groups, before and after every course of treatment. The short-term and long-term curative effect was observed. The measurement data was analyzed by t test, and the enumeration data was analyzed by chi-square test.Results①There were ninety cases with fourty-one male and fourty-nine female. The youngest was four-two years old, and the eldest was seventy years old. All the case of the three groups had no difference of sexuality, age, course of disease and all the index of curative effect.(2)Treated by two courses, the Group I cured7examples, and11examples had excellent effect,9examples had been better, and3examples had no effct. The Group Ⅱcured8xamples, and13examples had excellent effect,8examples had been better, and1example had no effct. The Group III cured15examples, and11examples had excellent effect,3examples had been better, and no one had no effr.t. All the three metheds of treatment had good effect on periarthriris humerescapularis. And Group Ⅲ had better than Group Ⅰ and the Group II.③The Group I is same with the GroupⅡ in improving the main symptoms and physical signs of periarthriris humeroscapularis, the score of MPQ, and the score of shoulder joint motion. Group III was significantly superior to Group Ⅱ and Group I, it showed that the combination of two point selection methods had a mutual collaborative and reinforcing role.in relieving these aspect.(4)The contrast of quality of life (SF-36) before and after every course of treatment were statistical significance. It indicated that all the three metheds can improve the quality of life for patients by alleviating pain and ameliorating of shoulder joint motion. But there is no significant difference between groups,It may be related to the course of treatment.⑤All the three methods of treatment had no difference in alleviating sustained fixed pain and tenderness of this diease. But the Group Ⅱ and Group III had better than Group I in releasing qi tong⑥After following up for one month, patient's condition of all the three groups didn't worse and relapse,so it showed that long-term efficacy of acupuncture treatment for periarthriris humeroscapularis is also quite clear.ConclusionsThis study proved that local point selection has remarkable effect on periarthriris humeroscapularis, plusing remote point selection according to treatment of heart and gallbladder, contralateral needling, and acupuncture kinesitherapy, so we should extend the application on curing the periarthriris humeroscapularis.
