Study On Syndrome-treatment And Prescription-drugs Of Vertigo By Ancient And Modern Medical Records Date

Objective:In this study, in order to provide more reference and new ideas for the clinical treatment of Vertigo, we detected the principles of syndromes and treatment through collecting the medical records of Vertigo from ancient to now and using the methods combining medical case literature, modern computer technology and statistical analysis.Methods:The first part, we conducted a comprehensive summary and review of ancient medical discussion on Vertigo from the perspective of historical development through using the methods of philological and collecting ancient literature.The second part, we collected the ancient and present medical cases of Vertigo, then, the cases were treated by datamation and standardization to establish the databases about symptoms and drugs of Ming-Qing and modern dynasties respectively. We studied the databases using the methods of mathematical statistics studies including frequency, factor, cluster and canonical correlation analysis and data digging methods including association rules and link analysis by statistical software SASV9.1. We excavated the potential relationship between symptoms-symptoms, drugs-drugs, symptoms-drugs to summarize and generalized the evolutive rule and the overall recognition from Ming-Qing periods to now.Results:The third part, according to the results of statistical analysis, we analyzed the happening foundation of Vertigo is asthenia in origin and asthenia in superficiality, summed up 7 patterns of syndrome including wind syndrome, fire syndrome, sputum syndrome, fluid-retention syndrome, deficient syndrome, liver wind with sputum syndrome, stasis syndrome, and summarized 21 principles of treatment including calm the liver and suppress yang, ect,36 couple drugs including dried tangerine or orange peel and fuling, ect,18 famous prescription in common including tian ma gou teng decoction, ect. Then, we deeply elaborated the relationships between Vertigo and yang deficiency, Vertigo and exogenous pathogenic factors, discussed the important meaning of lifting and lowering method.Conclusions:We summarized Vertigo's 7 patterns of syndrome,21 principles of treatment,36 couple drugs,18 famous prescriptions, in common.The relationships between Vertigo and yang deficiency, Vertigo and exogenous pathogenic factors are closely. Lifting and lowering method has important meaning in Vertigo's treatment.
