Not only rich theoretical descriptions were left, but also more detailed diagnosis and treatment program were put forward. These recognitions were withstood the long-term test of practice, still has very high significance, and were widly used in clinic.Treatise on Febrile and Miscellaneous Diseases wroted by Zhang zhongjing is a milestonet book of traditional Chinese medicine in the development of water disease theory. Compared with the "Golden Chamber", the discussion of water disease in the Treatise on Febrile and Miscellaneous Diseases is very rich, but more scattered, and its understanding of principles of treatment scattered in each chapter of diseases of six meridians.In order to master the water disease theory of Zhongjing, it is necessary to systematically analysis and sum up the exposition of Treatise on Febrile Diseases. At the same time, in order to accurately position the value of Zhongjing's water disease theory, it is necessary to build its relationship with internal classic of medicine and classic on medical problems.Bibliography method was used in this paper, and the main content is divided into the following sections.The first part focused on water-related disease theory:(1) body fluid metabolism theory of Chinese medicine:body fluid is one of the basic material to maintain human life. It is a carrier, not only it can give the body a wealth of nutrients, but also carry over the waste. essence of water and grain was diggested by the stomach and spleen, separated purity from turbidity by small intestine, and body fluid were to enter the metabolic metaplasia aspect; body fluid was transferred by spleen, lung and kidney, then transported to the human body by triple energizer; kidney water came from the organs of the body fluid, irrigated in the body, fell into the urine bladder, and ultimately eliminated from the body. The Warm of heart, Abreaction of liver play roles of regulating metabolic process in the body fluid. It existed interactive relationship between the blood with and body fluid. Body fluid in the inner irrigated organs through the gas, scattered on the outside so as to moisten the striae of the skin and exchange with blood in the veins inside and outside. The theory of Zhang Zhongjing in the Treatise on Febrile Diseases guided recognition on human physiological and pathological knowledge. (2)The theory of retention of fluid in the body in Chinese medicine:If organs dysfunction and blood disorders, body fluid should not the normal metabolism, then transformed into the pathogen of retention of fluid between the meridians, formed water disease. (3) The treatment of water disease in Traditional Chinese Medicine:a permanent solution including warming kidney, warming stomach, warming lung to reduce watery phlegm, dredging stasis of bladder, Smoothing liver qi, warming heart and calming the adverse-rising energy, dredging triple energizer, dredging meridians, merely alleviating the symptoms of a problem including sweating, using diuretic of hydragogue to alleviate water retention, supporting body resistance to alleviate water retention, activating blood circulation to alleviate water retention, promoting qi, clearing heat accumulation, reconciliation to alleviate water retention, emesising phlegm, nourishing Yin to alleviate water retention.The second part focused on the syndrome differentiating and regular pattern of water disease in Treatise on Febrile Diseases:(1) body fluid theory in the doctrine of Zhongjing:the doctrine of water disease in general can be summarized as warming, aproning, using diuretic of hydragogue to alleviate water retention and eliminating excess fluid, to stimulate yangqi, eliminate drinking water for the beacons, using warm drugs for guidance line. (2) the characteristics of body fluid metabolism theory of Zhongjing: First, to emphasize the functions of stomach in the body fluid metabolism; the second, to explain the body fluid Guardian Pathogenesis from the perspective of the ying-wei; the third, to think highly of triple energizer gasification function in body fluid metabolism; the Fourth, reconstruction fo the coordination and balance of yin and yang. (3) the characteristics of water disease in Treatise on Febrile Diseases: First, disease caused by Exogenous; Second, caused due to loss of governance; second, body fluid theory melting into six meridians theoretical system; fourth, unique water disease type existed. (4) the sub-type of water disease in Treatise on Febrile Diseases:including phlegm, water vapor, wet paralysis, thoracic junction, dashing piggy zheng. (5) the principal syndrome of water disease in Treatise on Febrile Diseases:including difficulty in micturition or abnormal, to be inflated, thirst, water,adversion (including Emesis,vomitting),throbing, dizziness, cough, swelling of the liver, fever, edema, diarrhea, cold, somatic heaviness, deficient qi, pain, water pulse.The third part focused on the prescriptions of water disease in Treatise on Febrile Diseases:(1) the prescription of water disease in Treatise on Febrile Diseases:including strengthening spleen agent, administering pulmonary agent, transfering kidney agent, clearing out the triple energizer agent the agent using diuretic of hydragogue to alleviate water retention, reconciliation agent, emetics. (2) drugs for water disease in Treatise on Febrile Diseases:including dissolving drugs (Guizhi, Dried Ginger, Aconite, Pinellia, Atractylodes macrocephala, ginger, Asarum, ginseng), diuresis drugs (Poria, Alisma, Polyporus, talc, Draba Lepidii son Paeoniflorin), diaphoretic (Ephedra, almond), fluid elimination agent (Radix Kansui, Euphorbiaceae, Daphne, Folium Dichroae Febrifugae, Phytolacca), medicine for diarrhea (rhubarb, Glauber's salt), Chung vomiting drugs (muskmelon fruit pedicel). (3) drug combination of flood in Treatise on Febrile Diseases:including drug compatibility of water diuresis drug with water diaphoretic drug; of Water Diuresis drug wiht diaphoretic; by water diarrhea prescription drug compatibility; with Diuresis drug; and the reconciliation agent with other drugs.The fourth part of the main elements are clinical experiences I use classical prescriptions to treat cerebral edema, the brain edema is further divided into traumatic brain edema, stroke, brain edema and cerebral edema in three traffic, the application of Taohe Chengqi Decoction for the treatment of early brain Empirical bowel edema, so that water go with the blood, and lower the brain pressure effect, and then according to TCM syndrome differentiation of rules for the disability of patients with cerebral edema, it significantly reduced the effects, and comprehensive theory of the aforementioned study and clinical application of critical illness have very good curative effect, and also good to clinical reference.It is an important part of Water disease treatment in Treatise on Febrile Diseases, the articles discussing the water disease are rich in content and detailed evidence rule, the related theory and the practice of medicine were tested by a long-term clinical practice, up to now were also widely used in clinic.
