Chinese Minority Tea Culture Research

The food culture can not be underestimated in human cultures, while tea plays an important role in food culture. Culture is the most important distinct symbol among nationalities. As the "tea country", China possesses of thousands of years of tea culture history and is tea original country in the world and also the birthplace of tea culture. But current researches in tea culture mostly are focused on Han tea culture and slightly on Chinese Minorities. Chinese Minorities have a special and important contribution to the formation and development of tea culture. The tea culture of each nation with its distinctive regional characteristics and unique style enrich Chinese tea culture, and become an integral and important part of Chinese tea culture.In this dissertation, the writer adopts ethnology fieldwork and documentary research methods, thinks impersonality, adjusts flexibility to get a good survey results. The structure of the paper is divided into five. The first chapter, the author expounds the origin, formation and development of Chinese tea culture, and discusses the effect and contribution of minorities cultures to development of tea culture; The second chapter, hackles transmission approach and impact of Chinese tea culture from two aspects of domestic and international,in the same time, examines the world status of Chinese tea culture; Chapterâ…¢, discusses respectively the diversity of drinking tea manner of Chinese Minorities according to their national characteristics; Chapterâ…£, probes into the symbolic significance of tea culture through the analysis to the spiritual and cultural meaning of etiquette and art; The fifth chapter,the author puts forward some recommendations to the development of tea culture of Chinese Minorities on the basis of investigation, research and analysis.
