| As an ancient and wearable art,jewelry is a carrier of people's spiritual and material life.In the traditional sense,jewelry is a symbol of people's status,status and wealth.The materials are expensive,and the types and ranges are concentrated in precious metals and gems.With the development of economy and society and the advancement of science and technology,the concept,production process and basic materials of jewelry art are constantly changing.Jewelry has entered the lives of ordinary people and has gradually become a necessity of people's lives.In today's wearable jewelry art,in addition to the role of decoration and beautification of the human body,there is more value and meaning that is the personalized artistic expression of people's inner spirit.Compared with traditional materials,comprehensive materials have the advantages of diversified types,convenient sources,and low cost.In the process of contemporary jewelry art creation,the artist is characterized by the use of a variety of comprehensive materials,and expresses his ideas and artistic thoughts through his unique style.As a branch of Chinese culture,ethnic minority cultures have strong national characteristics.Totems that symbolize national beliefs are mostly derived from mythology at the origin stage and play a role in people's belief and worship.In today's society,totems have eliminated their original beliefs and turned into a memory of national cultural traditions.Expressing cultural emotions in jewelry art is one of the important ways of expressing contemporary jewelry art.I try to interpret the totem culture of ethnic minorities through minimalist modern language to experiment with how modern art forms inherit traditional culture.This paper studies the formation and development process of contemporary jewelry art,analyzes the language,connotation and function of comprehensive materials,and explores various ways to describe the totems of Chinese ethnic minorities in contemporary jewelry. |
