Since the first half year of 2014, the coal market has remained sluggish. Being forced by current dilemma, coal enterprises rethink the development mode of adding investment, expanding capacity and increasing output. They start to rethink and redesign the direction of development, path of development, acquisition and utilization of superior resources, improve existing development path and promote sustainable development capability.Based on the actual goal of sustainable development for coal enterprises, the theory circle proposes to replace original development mode with green innovation development mode, thus realizing win-win-win objective of economy, society and environmental performance. Due to slow effect of green innovation performance, it’s necessary for external resources to be converted to internal advantages effectively and rapidly, form synergy green innovation capability, accelerate realization of enterprise innovation performance and get rid of current dilemma. As a frontier research field, the research on synergy green innovation capability is lack of systematic analysis. In order to uncover the black box of research on synergy green innovation capability of coal enterprises, the paper mainly focuses on below issues: Is it synergy green innovation capability important for coal enterprises to promote performance? What are the influencing factors for the role of synergy green innovation capability? What kind of mechanism drives the promotion of synergy green innovation capability? What is the development path for the promotion of synergy green innovation capability? How does the promotion of synergy green innovation capability evolve? What kind of management measures should be adopted to promote synergy green innovation capability? The analysis of above issues will provide complete and dynamic research framework for the research on synergy green innovation capability of coal enterprises, thus solving internal mechanism issue of coal enterprises innovation theoretically.Firstly, based on research framework of “influencing factor, structural dimension and innovation performance” of synergy green innovation capability of coal enterprises, the paper strives to solve the problems of synergy green innovation capability of coal enterprises, namely why it forms, how it constitutes and what is the effects. Through literature research and empirical investigation of enterprises, it’s verified that market orientation, policy orientation, strategy orientation, corporate culture and technological level have positive influence on synergy green innovation capability, and that synergy green innovation capability has positive influence on enterprise innovation performance. Besides, based on analyzing mutual relation between two constitutional dimensions: synergy capability and green innovation capability, the paper verifies facilitation of synergy capability and green innovation capacity. Then, the paper verifies facilitation of market orientation and strategy orientation, policy orientation and strategy orientation, market orientation and corporate culture, policy orientation and corporate culture, market orientation and technological level, policy orientation and technological level. The establishment of research framework and empirical test not only verify research purpose and significance of the paper, but offer theoretical and factual basis to confirm key factors of promoting synergy green innovation capability of coal enterprises.Secondly, based on own dynamic characteristics of capability, various theories and methods such as self-organization, biology and system dynamics are applied to make systematic analysis about the promotion of synergy green innovation capability of coal enterprises. On the basis of analyzing basic framework of synergy green innovation capability, system dynamics is primarily used to illustrate that positive feedback relation between self-organization function and heter-organization function has driving effect on the promotion of synergy green innovation capability of coal enterprises. Based on key factors of promotion and correlation mechanism, self-organization theory is applied to explain the advantages and suitable conditions of endogeneity and erogeneity path to promote synergy green innovation capability. According to industrial characteristics of coal enterprises, specific macro-environment and particularity of synergy green innovation capability, it’s concluded that internal & external dynamic coupling path has been adaptation and acceleration for the promotion of synergy green innovation capability of coal enterprises.Finally, biological evolution theory is adopted to make logical deduction about evolutionary process of promoting synergy green innovation capability. As emphasis and ways of promoting synergy green innovation capability of coal enterprises at each stage are different, and it is a “order transition” evolution process, elaboration and analysis of intrinsic genes and evolutionary process can reveal the development tendency and development direction of promoting synergy green innovation capability. Based on existing management principles, the paper proposes specific management measures to promote synergy green innovation capability of coal enterprises, so that above research can be applied to the actual operation management of coal enterprises.There are many innovations of the paper. The research contents not only construct complete analysis system of synergy green innovation capability of coal enterprises, but explores internal impetus for the development of coal enterprises, thus offering theoretical support for the diversified development of green innovation capability. Besides, the research on innovation capability of coal enterprises turns from static to dynamic, which conforms to complexity characteristic of synergy green innovation capability and avoids “capability rigidity” formed by research of static capability during actual innovation practice of enterprises. With regard to research method, the paper adopts structural equation method commonly used by traditional relationship research. Besides, by systematic analysis the paper demonstrates development stages, improvement basis and improvement path of synergy green innovation capability of coal enterprises to discover nonlinear operation mechanism. Furthermore, application of biological metaphor interprets the development situation and path of synergy green innovation capability of coal enterprises, reveals the most important endogenous factors of capability promotion: variation, selection and retention process of convention. It also reflects substantive characteristics of evolutionary process of promoting synergy green innovation capability, which makes the research on impetus, factors and path of capability evolution more substantial and intensive.Under special background in economic transformation period, adjustment of national industrial structure and enhanced environmental regulation, how should coal enterprises combine own advantages and industrial characteristics to seize chances, avoid threat and get rid of dilemma is emphasized by operators of coal enterprises. Therefore, the research on synergy green innovation capability of coal enterprises in this paper offers new solution and implementation approach for coal enterprises to get rid of dilemma, accelerate the value transformation of green innovation and realize management practice of sustainable development.
