China’s Industrialization,Urbanization And Agricultural Modernization Interaction And Fusion:Theory And Empirical Research

Industrialization, urbanization and agricultural modernization has been the focus of the study of the problem of economic growth and social development. The push of industrialization and urbanization had a profound impact on the development of agricultural modernization, and poses challenges to the development of agricultural modernization. It was mainly reflected in the comprehensive agricultural production capacity, the agricultural industrial structure adjustment and agricultural service system construction, agricultural infrastructure, agricultural scientific and technological progress, the agricultural labor force employment, a certain impact on ecological environment, etc. It also created opportunities for the development of agricultural modernization, and the progress of technological progress, the improvement of equipment, the improvement of the construction of facilities, enhancement of financial strength is beneficial to the development of agricultural modernization. Industrialization, urbanization and agricultural modernization balanced and coordinated development has become one of the fundamental strategy of our economic and social development. How to overall plan coordinated development of industrialization, urbanization and agricultural modernization and give full play to the industrialization and urbanization, the development of modern agriculture, the leading role of transferring rural surplus labor, is the important subject in front of the government workers and agricultural economy.This paper regards the relationship between industrialization, urbanization and agricultural modernization-mutual integration of industrialization, urbanization and agricultural modernization as the main line, on the basis of agricultural modernization theory, industrial organization theory, theory of technological change and institutional innovation theory, in-depth analysis of industrialization, urbanization and agricultural modernization internal mechanism of mutual influence and industrialization, urbanization and agricultural modernization integration level and fusion quality.Firstly, based on exploring the industrialization, urbanization and agricultural modernization mutual relations, through the establishment of the panel VAR model, using cointegration analysis and impulse response method and the data of various provinces from 1990 to 2012, empirical analyze the industrialization, urbanization on the impact of agricultural modernization. The results show that urbanization has a continuous positive effect on agriculture modernization level; the impact of the industrialization on agriculture modernization level is positive, furthermore, this effect has the tendency of convergence, and has a certain continuity. At the same time, the paper also discusses the agricultural modernization on the influence of industrialization and urbanization. Results show that the agricultural modernization has a continuously positive role in promoting urbanization, but the pull function of industrialized on agricultural modernization is lack of sustainability.Secondly, this paper further build mutual fusion of industrialization, urbanization and agricultural modernization theory and the empirical model, and using the Chinese provincial panel data from 1990 to 2012, through the construction of the integration of industrialization and agricultural modernization index and by building urbanization and agricultural modernization fusion index to analyze China’s urbanization, industrialization and agricultural modernization and integration of horizontal and deviated from the desired level. And this paper set the labor productivity, three times industry output value proportion and three industrial employment structure as the economic performance indicators, through the establishment of panel data fixed effects model, empirical studies the fusion of industrialization and agricultural modernization and urbanization and agricultural modernization on the influence of economic performance indicators, as to evaluate the fusion quality of the industrialization, urbanization and agricultural modernization.Thirdly, on the basis of describing the development situation of agricultural modernization in the developed countries, focuses on the development of agricultural modernization Japanese model and the American model, and the agricultural development of developed countries has provided valuable reference for our country agricultural development experience. (1) Let the market in allocating resources has always played a fundamental role. (2) Implementation of the system in favor of agricultural development and agricultural policies. (3) Enhance the vitality of the farm, and promote the agricultural labor force transferring to non-agricultural sector. (4) Attaches great importance to the agricultural education, training and technology promotion, and constantly improve the quality of the farmers. (5) Support the development of agricultural cooperatives, improve the degree of organization. (6) Protect the environment, and pay attention to the sustainable development of agriculture and versatility.Finally, based on the empirical results above, the corresponding policy recommendations from the agricultural population transfer, improve the industrial chain, increase scientific and technological input and relaxation in land transfer. And provide policy to actively promote industrialization, urbanization and agricultural modernization of coordinated development.The contribution of this paper is mainly manifested in several aspects:first, according to the internal mechanism between industrialization, urbanization and agricultural modernization, build the panel VAR model, using the dynamic economics method of cointegration analysis and impulse response method to empirical analyze the interaction between industrialization, urbanization and agricultural modernization. Second; build mutual fusion of industrialization, urbanization and agricultural modernization theory and the empirical model, and empirical study on the fusion level and fusion quality of industrialization, urbanization and agricultural modernization. Third, the samples are very abundant, containing the national provincial panel data from 1990 to 2012. Therefore, the analysis results are quite reliable and have a widespread practical significance.
