Capital is an unavoidable question in today’s society, it’s positive effect is obvious, but the negative impact of capital is also can’t be ignored. Based on the double nature of the capital, the research become a cherished areas. For the study of capital, Marx is an insurmountable peak. Even Marx had died more than100years, his theory of capital also has strong explanatory power for the development of capitalism, the financial crisis, and many other topics. The study of capital must begin from Marx, in this paper we teasing out Marx’s capital theory along his thought, starting from the goods and money, then to research the value proliferation of capital, the relationship between capital and production relations, the relationship between capital and productivity, the historical destiny of capital and so on. On the basis of the analysis we can grasp the essence of Marx’s capital theory, capital is a kind of production relation to cover the value of people’s labor. These theories research capital in different points of view, such as the ecological environment, development and utilization of human value, moral standards and social progress, the positive role of cultural power, the role of social relationships in social progress and so on. This paper sort out the clue of the development of the capital theory, analyzes the main content of these theories, also some questions and suggestions are put forward. The development of the theory of capital is a clue, we need to find a general point of view to analysis the clue, in this paper, we analyze the trend of the development of capital theories with The angle of Marxism, comparison of the various capital theories with the capital essence theory of Marx. Theory is always to be combined with practice, capital is a typical dualism, how to deal with the negative impact of capital is very important. This paper tries to establish some basic principles and measures for capital use.
