On Bai Juyi 's Life And Literature

Since the book of Yuanbashijiazhenggao written by Chen Yinque,the research about Bai Juyi has made great acheievements. But there is still a pioneering space.To study Bai’s secular life is very meaningful.The secular life philosophy of Bai Juyi plays an important role in the culture transformation of Tang dynasty and Song dynasty. His secular life philosophy and artistic feature based on it were closely related to his family environment and life circumstances.Studying from this point,the lack of previous research can be corrected or supplemented.This dissertation congtains ten parts:The preface reviews the research literature and relects on their achievemts and briefly introduces the perspectives and lines of investigation in this dissertation.In the first chapter,through the inspection of Bai Youwen who is the brother of Bai Juyi, aims at solving the problem about Bai’s heirs and marriage of his parents.In the second chapter,we discusses Bai’s life in FuLi.His life in the side of the canal play a very important part in shaping his thingking and his literary creation.Chapter three focuses on Bai’s life in HuaYangguan where he prepared to take the exam of ZhiJu.He wrote CeLin here.This work has close tie to the innovation in the period of YongZhen.The fourth chapter discusses the theme of ChangHenge.This poem was originally written as a entertainment work in the gathering with his friends,but the poet get promoted because of the poem.The theme of this poem also changed in this process.The five chapter discusses the writing time and purpose of the XinYuefu.It may be written at XiaGui,then the poet lived here because of his mother’ death. The sixth chapter investigation Bai Juyi arranged his poetry anthology in Jiangzhou. The poet exiled to this place, full of humiliation. He arranged his poetry to explain himself to be a moral and loyal person, This act also reflected the change of his thoughts about poetry writing. In the Chapter seven,we investigation Bai’s life as local officials at Jiangzhou,Zhongzhou,Hangzhou and Suzhou.He concerned people’s life, but he also to pursue his own happiness in his spare time, In the last chapter, we discuss the notes of Bai’s poetry which is added by himself in his old age when finishing their poems. He added these notes in order to make his poetry easy to read and understand, but these notes also makes his poetry Lack of poetic.The added pseud-chapter foucus on the dispute between Hangfu Shi and Bai Juyi,take this thing as an example,we can find out the basic distinction of the literary group they each represented.
