Objective: To explore the related factors and characteristics of clinical manifestation of ADHD. To discover the following gene's Polymorphism of Single Nucleotide(SNP) in the nicotine α4 Acetylcholine Receptors (CHRNA4): rs2273502(C→T), rs1044396(C→T), rs1044397(G→A)and rs3827020(G→A). To find the relationship between clinical symptoms and SNPs(and halotype) of CHRNA4 in ADHD.Subjects and methods: ADHD were diagnosed according to CCMD-3 and DSM-IV, also the patients' in case group emotional and behavioral problems were assessed by CBCL(Children Behavior Checklist, CBCL) and Conners child behavioral inventory(Parent edition). The 82 normal students in control group were sampled from some schools in Chengdu city by cluster-sampling, whose sex and age were matched with the patients with ADHD respectively. CHRNA4 genotypes were obtained through RFLP(Restriction Fragment Length Polymorphism, RFLP) after PCR products were digested by enzyme. The statistic methods include Descriptive Statistics, One-way ANOVA, Bivariate, Binary Logistic Regression, Chi-Square Test and Hardy-Weinberg Test.Results:1. More boys with ADHD have asked for medical suggestions than girls with ADHD in case group with mean 10 years age, 2 pregnant times,...
