Stellaria dichotoma L. var. lanceolata Bge. is a kind of several-year-living herbage plant. It lives mainly in Ningxia province of China. The extracts was extracted with EtOAc, n-BuOH and H2O, then isolated with normal and reverse-phase silica gel column chromatography and HPLC. 32 compounds were isolated and 29 compounds were identified as stigmast-7-enol palmitate 1 ; 5-(hydroxymethyl)-2-furfrual 2 ; 5-(hydroxymethyl)pyrrole-2-carboxaldehyde 3 ; dihydroferulic acid 4 ; 3,4-dimethoxyhydrocinnamic acid 5 ; vanillin 6 ; vanillic acid 7 ; 1-(4-hydroxy-3-methoxyphenyl) ethanone 8 ; l-hydroxy-l-(3'-methoxy -4'5'-methylenedioxy)phenylpropane 9 ; pinocembrin 10 ; suberic acid 11 ; 8-hydroxycaprylic acid 12; homo-a-linolenic acid 13; linoleic acid 14; palmitoleic acid 15; oleic aicd 16; palmitic acid 17; dichotomide I 18; dichotomide II 19; dichotomine D 20; dichotomine B 21; dichotomine A 22; dichotomine B-8-D-glucoside 23; dichotomine C 24; Dichotomoside B 25; Dichotomoside A 26; Dichotomoside C 27; Dichotomoside D 28; butyl 3-(4-hydroxy-3- methoxyphenyl) propanoate-β-D-glucoside 29. Compound 18-29 were new compounds. The MTPA reaction was also used to study the stereochemistry of compound 20~24.The incubation of RBL-2H3 cell was used to study the anti-hypersusceptibility activity of extracts of Stellaria dichatoma L. var. lanceolata Bge. and compound 1~4, 6, 7~12, 20~23, 25~27, 29. We also study the MTT cytotoxicity of compound 20 and 26. The results showed that compound 20 and 26 have better anti-hypersusceptibility activity and less MTT cytotoxicity.
