Research Of Tongue Diagnosis And Pulse-taking Diagnosis Based On The Database Of Modern Well-known Doctors' Cases Of China

Chinese medicine clinical cases are a vivid reflection of medical activities and doctors'thoughts. They are also a combination of concepts, reason, meaning and medicine upon the response of a specific symptom . Many famous doctors have emphasized the value of medicine cases . By collecting and analyzing the data of medicine cases, We can summary the previous clinical experience of diagnosis and treatment , rich and develop traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) theory.This thesis is based on the combination of clinical cases and tongue and pulse-taking diagnosis. By setting up the OLAP system of TCM cases , from《Quintessence of modern well-known doctors'cases of China》,《Quintessence of contemporary well-known doctors'cases of China》and other works , I have studied 4400 clinical cases of 269 doctors . I have got some points about their opinions toward tongue and pulse-taking diagnosis, relativity between them, and confirmed the significance of inspection of tongue and pulse-taking in the diagnostics of TCM. I hope it can rich the connotation of inspection and pulse-taking diagnosis, prompt the modernization of diagnostics of TCM.This thesis is composed of the following five parts:Part I is a summary. This part summarize the research characteristic of modern Chinese medicine cases and the literature studies about tongue and pulse-taking diagnosis. It provided the thesis with the source of medicine cases and data processing method.Part II introduces the development and application of TCM cases --OLAP system based on the internet. It's an innovation on computer database of this thesis. The system combines the basic principle and method of database with the theory and method of evidence based on medicine and clinical epidemiology. It adopts the advanced technology of software development and database. It takes the relevance study of tongue,pulse and syndrome as the beginning in its application of this thesis. Its main function is to embody the relation of tongue,pulse and syndrome, and also involves other related data.Part III is the results using the OLAP system analyzing the medicine cases of contemporary well-known doctors(main part). According to the objective and method designed, I have done the following statistical analysis: patients'general information, overall analysis of tongue state ,the characteristics of each kind of tongue state, relation between state of tongue and cause of disease , relation of different tongue state ,the relation between state of tongue and pulse condition, overall analysis of pulse condition, the characteristics of each kind of pulse condition,the relation between pulse condition and cause of disease, typical state of tongue and...
