Research On Literature And Clinical Application Of Sijunzi Decoction And Its Derived Prescriptions

Sijunzi decoction (Decoction of four noble ingredients) is an original formula for invigorating Qi. Though it was firstly recorded in volume 3 of Taiping Huimin Hejiju Fang (Benevolent Prescriptions from Taiping Pharmaceutical Bureau), Sijunzi decoction is a different name of BaiZhu decoction (Rhixoma Atractylodis Macrocephalae Decoction) which is in volume 80 of Shengjizonglu (The Complete Record of Holy Benevolence). It is a basic prescription of invigorating Qi. From which lot of prescriptions in later ages that can tonify Qi and strengthen spleen are derived.Based on the foundation and development of Sijunzi decoction and its derived prescriptions, the thesis explores the regulation of their compatibility. By the way of classifying according to the action, we select the prescriptions that are in accordance with function of tonifying Qi and strengthening spleen and characteristics of its compatibility as its derived ones. Searching the ancient and recent literature, we select 24 among 300 prescriptions which accord with prescribing regulation, sort them into 12 types for studying.The thesis makes a systematical analysis on Sijunzi decoction and its derived prescriptions, sums up their clinical application, so as to master the evolving regulation, expand their application range, improve the ability of selecting set prescriptions and creating new prescriptions.
