Myxobolus rotundus Nemeczek 1911 is a typical histozoic and plasmodia-forming myxozoan. In the present dissertation, the seasonal dynamics of plasmodiaoccurred inallogynogeneticgiblecarpCarassiusauratus gibelio (Bloch),antigenicityof the pathology and the parasite-host relationships were studied based on theredescriptionofthespecies.Themainresultsareshownasfollows.M. rotundus is an important pathological Myxosporean species forallogynogenetic gible carp in recent years, especially in Hubei Province. However, allplasmodiaindifferent infectionsites are enwrapped byalayer ofepithelia membrane. After a year investigation of a pond of culturing allogynogenetic gible carp in LakeChenjia of Wuhan city, we found that the abundance and prevalence of M. rotundusplasmodia have a significant seasonality. Plasmodia were firstly found in August andthehighestmean abundanceoccurredinwinter.Theplasmodiawere graduallygrowthwith the development of the parasite, and the largest plasmodium was found in Jan ofthe second year. Then the plasmodia started the process of vanishment to enter into...
