Research On Project Oriented Urban Design Scheming

As China's market economic system gradually becomes more mature and perfect, the urbanization process keeps accelerating. The investors and interest bodies of urban construction are increasingly diversified, and urban development in various types has become the main mode of urban construction, as the primary factor in optimal allocation of the urban substantial elements and the urban space resource, which is leading the formation of the urban space. Under market economy condition, urban design increasingly depends on the effectively directing and controlling of the market-oriented behaviors of urban development to transform urban space from ideal into reality. So, it is necessary for urban design to meet the needs of urban development, to improve the market feasibility, operability and the effectiveness of control in the urban development process.Chinese ancient saying says: Well arranged, well done, or the other way round. For urban design, arrangement is scheming, which sets up the foundation of urban design, and helps the whole project successfully carried out. This thesis points out that aiming at the problems and real needs of urban design in China, it is necessary to further define the"Scheming"stage in urban design. Besides, this thesis puts forward a development project oriented notion and operational technology of the"Scheming"research in urban design, intending to improve the effectiveness and operability of urban design under market economy condition, and to improve the scientific, systematic nature and foresightedness of urban design, which will help achieve"well arranged, well done"and"get twice the result with half the effort".This paper focuses on the research of development managing urban design contraposing comprehensive urban development, based on the scheming ,decision-making, systematic theory and the goal-oriented process, taking the developing project as the starting point and the main clue, which also outspread its research content focusing on three core issues,which are theory framework, scheming research and the fulfilling of the scheming purpose.Firstly , Finding out the important reason of why the urban design production lacks of operability in the comprehensive development is shortage of the scheming research and the ignorance of the market operation reality background, through analyzing and summarizing a couple of practical urban design cases in china. Accordingly bring out the theory that it's necessary to enhance the project-oriented urban design scheming research. Based on this understanding, the thesis forms its theory framework through the study of role positioning, value principle, core assignment,theory method,basic features,and teamwork organizing of urban design scheming.Based on the framework above, this thesis does further research on the project scheming process and the continued fulfillment of the scheming purpose, also evolves the summing-up, that in the process of the scheming research, it is necessary to consider both the needs of the public benefit and the urban development, and work on principle of overall observing and detailed actualizing, to construct the target system and project-orient disassociation. Meanwhile, through a serious of technical methods of guiding and controlling, including guiding design process through the scheming of project-oriented goal, guiding urban design production through quasi-implement framework,and tracing and consulting in the implementation phase.In the end, the thesis integrates the theory with the practice of the urban design scheming in Xiasha seaside resort in Shenzhen, further verifying the result of the research, and summarizing the experience and the revelation.
