The paper studies on thermal control shutter, which is specially designed forⅩⅩSecondary Satellite, and focuses on the design of the whole plan, themodeling of mechanism dynamics, the design and analysis of the simulation control system, the modal and humorous response analysis and the fuzzy reliability optimization of key parts. The main contents are:The paper gave the detail analysis and comparison to several thermal control designs according to the design demand ofⅩⅩSecondary Satellite. Based on full of demonstrability, the linkage link and worm-driving are used in the thermal control shutter design with many merits such as tight layout, simple structure, light mass, high reliability, great output power, ability of adjusting temperature and so on.Based on the noumenal structure of the driving component of shutter mechanism—two-phase hybrid stepping motor, the paper deduced its mathematical model. And The model of open/close loop simulation control model was built based on MATLAB/SIMULINK and the colligated emendation method including angle feedback and speed feedback was introduced. So the model is provided to decide the last control method in united simulation with mechanical system.According to the characteristics of the thermal control shutter mechanism, the second Lagrange equation was applied to establish its mechanism dynamics equation. The affects of clearance, damp and elasticity acting on driving system of thermal control shutter were analyzed. The feasible method was pointed out to eliminate or verify these affects. And the method provides the foundations of building model and choosing parameters of virtual prototyping.The mechanical dynamic model was built by ADAMS software. The mechanical system and control design are connected to realize the virtual prototype simulation of complex mechanical system including control system. The main structure parameters were optimized. The simulation sets up the key points of the design in the physical prototype, and gives a further design consideration on shutter mechanism with the characteristics of accurate temperature control, reasonable dimension and suitable installation.The finite element model was built to perform the modal and humorous response analysis, which gives the important reference to the whole design.Combining with analysis results of virtual simulation, modal and humorous response, The optimal design based on muti-object fuzzy reliability was introduced to worm driving mechanism using NSGA-Ⅱarithmetic. A better object solution balance is obtained between variety and astringency. ANSYS/PDS tool was applied to verify reliability design. All of them provide a new method for part reliability analysisThe collaborative simulation software was developed. So the collaborative simulation was reached by using MATLAB/Simulink and ADAMS software. The design parameters can be modified timely, the simulation process can be shown dynamically, and the results can be processed quickly.
