The millimeter-wave transceiver module in this paper is the important part of the fuse front-end. The thesis is focused on the millimeter-wave transceiver module and its key components.First of all, principle of the millimeter-wave transceiver module is expounded. The design project and frame picture of the transceiver module are presented according to the technology target and design principle of the transceiver module. The transceiver module includes a few circuit modules. Some planar passive circuits correlated this paper are discussed. The divider/combiner using in circuit modules of transceiver module and millimeter-wave monolithic power amplifier is designed. This paper puts forward several novel microstrip bandpass filter structures and gives stimulation and experimental results. A novel millimeter-wave microstrip bandpass filter shows slow-wave effect with loading capacitance. The size of this filter is greatly reduced, and the performance of the filter is not changed. This paper analyzes Ka-band antipodal finline waveguide-to-microstrip transition by HFSS. Based on simulation result, several factors affecting performance of transition are analyzed, and a design curve of transition available for project application is got. Furthermore the double bonding wire interconnection of microstrip-microstrip is analysis with a quasi-static model, and the result is useful in microstrip MIC design. The MMIC passive components such as resistors, capacitors and inductors are also studied. Their equivalent circuit models and design method are given.A Ka-Band MMIC power amplifier is fabricated using 0.25μm PHEMT technology in the 13th institute. The circuit is designed, optimized and the electromagnetic field simulation. The extraction of device model parameters is draw by the IC_CAP.A study of GaAs FET frequency multiplier working on class-B is presented. The paper analyzes the influence of the phase noise of the frequency multiplier and get millimeter-wave frequency multiplier using in the transceiver module. The theory, technique target and basic circuits of mixer are discussed after structure and equivalent circuit of Schottky diode is introduced.Millimeter-wave 0-p phase shifter is one of the key parts of the transceiver module, it's performance will influence performance of the transceiver module. This paper presents the analysis and simulation that the performance of a 0-p phase shifter influence on the carrier wave suppression. The carrier wave suppression is not only in connection with the phase error, but also with the switching speed and the parasitic amplitude modulation. The experimental results coincide with the simulation. On the basis of above work, the millimeter-wave transceiver module in fuse font-end is realized. Test data indicate transceiver module that the paper develops entirely meets the specification requirement.
