The method of embedded a net cooling pipe is one of best efficiency way to control the temperature using the flow of cooling water in cooling pipe to reduce the hydrate temperature risen of cement in concrete dams. These methods have been widely used inside and outside of world in dam construction to control temperature. However, many problems had not been known exactitude. Most of computations based on the ideal condition. There are bigger distance form simulation and practice. Such as the combine effect of pipe cooling and disperse heat from concrete pouring lay, the temperature distribution along the cooling pipe, the cooling effect of pipe cooling, etc.The cooling effect and main factor of pipe cooling had been investigated in this paper according to the heat conduction theory, characteristic of cooling pipe and finite element theory; The calculate models had been made for concrete pouring blank considered the disperse heat from concrete pouring lay; The calculate models had been made using the coupling model of heat conduction and the floe of cooling water for concrete pouring blank considered the temperature distribution along the cooling pipe; The 3-dimensional pipe cooling substructure finite element method is provided and used to solve the problem that it needs a long time to compute the temperature field and stress field of concrete dam according to the layout of cooling pipe and the specialityof cooling water; The coupling model had also been made combined the pipe cooling substructure finite element method and three-dimensional finite element relocating mesh method; Combined a practice project, a simulation of temperature field had been made for concrete dam with pipe cooling according to differ layout in the period of construction and operation; The results of simulation show that the coupling model methods of pipe cooling substructure finite element and three-dimensional finite element relocating mesh method are reliable. And it also shoe that this method and the theory of considered disperse heat from concrete pouring lay and the temperature distribution along the cooling pipe are accurate. The results of simulation are nicety than that of other methods.The computation program provided in the paper has perfect before-treatment and after-treatment, and it is of faster of calculation, high precision and reliable. Its interface is perfect and it is also easily visual. It can be wide used in the simulation of temperature control in mass concrete engineering embed cooling pipe.
