Research On The Planning Of City's Colorscape

With the fast developement of society and urbanization, the planning of the city's colorscape plays an important role in keeping urban view feature, enriching urban cultural connotation and enhancing urban quality.This paper aims on improving the theoretical research method of the planning of the city's colorscape, and broaching more scientific theoretical criteria for systematic research on the planning of the city's colorscape.The research methods and developing trends of the planning of the city's colorscape at home and abroad are collected and analysed by studying the relevant literature and interviewing some academic institutes, the scientific research methods and fruits are referred to, in the end, the systematic research method of the planning of the city's colorscape is put forward and verified by practices. The central city of Tianjin is taken for example. The analysis conclusion of city's colorscape based on color geography research is drawn after a comprehensive investigation on urban natural geography and cultural historical factors. The analysis conculsion of the present condition of urban color based the method of quantitative color infomation collection is drawn by collecting and analyzing the present building's color information in the important districts quantitatively and qualitatively. The citizen's psychological choice on urban color is figured out by questionnaire whose content is mainly about how the urban colors impress on citizens. Combining with factor analysis method, the SD is adopted in psychological evaluation experiment on urban colorscape, as a result, the the interrelation between different buildings and colors is achieved, and the relation between building type and color trend can be expressed clearly. The interrelation between artificial chromatic light and building's color can be expressed clearly by simulating artificial light in the computer and psychological affection experiment on building's color, thus, the city's colorscape can be expressed better at night. To sum up, the main fruits of this paper are: establishing the main tone of the urban building and building's color database, broaching control rules for the building's colorscape and administration advice for the planning of the city's colorscape. Based on the previous studies about the planning city's colorscape, this study provides a systematic color planning method which is put into practice. The original content of this paper:1. The scientific quantitiative research method is used for confirming non-quantitative factors, in consequence, the research system on the planning of the city's colorscape is improved.2. By combining the two research methods of social questionnaire investigation and psychological evaluation experiment based on affection factor of people, namely, the integrated factor superpostion method, the evaluation system of the planning of the city's colorscape is further consummated.3. The factors affecting the city's colorscape are explored from the aspect of chromatic light affection of artificial light environment, and the artificial chromatic light affection factor is added to the evaluation system of the planning of the city's colorscape, and the research on which is spreaded out.
