Transition metal nitrides belong to a class of interstitial compounds, in which the nitrogen atom was dissolved into the metal lattices. It makes them combine the characteristic properties of covalent solids, ionic crystals, and transition metals, so they have unique physical and chemical properties. They have a number of excellent properties, such as high hardness, high melting point, against abrasion and corrosion, which make them useful for cutting tool, hard coatings, high temperature structural ceramics, catalysts, solar control coatings, tool coating and diffusion barriers in microelectronics. Therefore, transition metal nitrides have attracted much attention more and more. In recent 20 years, synthesis of nanomaterials is an important task in material science field all along. Some application of large bulk transition metal nitrides is restricted by their sintered temperature and high melting point. However, bulk transition metal nitrides nanocrystallines can improve sintering, catalysis and other properties due to high surface area and chemical activation of nanocrystallines Therefore, synthesis of bulk transition metal nitrides nanocrysatllines also is a very important task.At present, one-dimensional (1D) or quasi- dimensional semiconductor nanomaterials have became investigative focus and front fields in nanomaterials...
